I understood it. I just didnt even get scared. First thing I did was look up, of course. But I always seem to be in the wrong situation for these sorts of things. I remember you posted one like "Some things are meant as distractions and you didnt notice me walk in the door behind you" but my computer faces the only entrance to my room, so it wasnt scary at all. So So since I know that nothing can get into my room without me seeing it, I never get scared with that stuff.Quote:

One of two recovered photographs from the Stirling City Library blaze. Notable for being taken the day which fourteen children vanished and for what is referred to as "The Slender Man". Deformities cited as film defects by officials. Fire at library occurred one week later. Actual photograph confiscated as evidence.
1986, photographer: Mary Thomas, missing since June 13th, 1986.

1994: Wilks Estate. One subject reported nothing out of the ordinary before taking photograph. Lower stairs area was said to be very dark. Subject states that after the camera flash she heard a sound like a watermelon being *unable to understand subject*.
5/25/93**
Subject unable to recall events after manor power failure. Unable to question other two identified subjects. Camera and film acquired from Gloria Cready, current resident of Woodview Mental Hospital and Psychological Rehabilitation Clinic. Film mostly uncontaminated despite mass of blood and human tissue present on camera. No positive ID on anomalous tall and slender subject. Facial blur caused by possible contamination.
6/7/93**
Early digital analysis indicates tall subject may have no eyes. Anomalies, previously thought to be film errors and flash artifacts, now thought to be appendages.
6/10/93**
Final identified subject reported missing along with other thirty-three patients and staff of Woodview Mental Hospital and Psychological Rehabilitation Clinic south wing.
6/18/93**
Further inquiry to cease immediately.

I looked around my new house, awe in my eyes. I was finally old enough to own a house, all by myself. Well, with my dog, but, that still counts as being alone.
Checking my watch, I noticed it was already ten o' clock. I shrugged, figuring the trip there had taken longer than I thought.
I flopped onto my mattress as my dog crawled underneath my bed, like he always did. Soon after, I fell asleep.
Drip, drop. Drip, drop.
My eyes snapped open.
Drip, drop.
I shrugged once again, ignoring the fear bubbling inside me. Eventually, sleep overcame me.
Drip, drop. Drip, drop.
I awoke again, this time sitting up, fear evident in my eyes. Shaking, I lowered my hand underneath the bed where my dog was. He licked it. I sighed, feeling much more safe, and went back to sleep.
Drip, drop. Drip, drop.
Now I was frustrated. I got up, pulled the sheets off me, and went into the bathroom connected to my bedroom. Maybe I left the faucet on.
Sure enough, the faucet was on a little. I twisted it all the way, before returning to my bed and having my dog lick my hand. Finally, some sleep.
Drip, drop.
That's it.
I stormed into the other bathroom, the one across the living room, pausing in utter horror as I saw-
There, hanging from the shower faucet, was my dog's corpse. Blood practically flooded down his dead body, landing in a puddle against the white tile in the shower. My mouth hanging open, I turned to the mirror.
Written in my dog's blood, right on the mirror, were these words: "Humans can lick, too."

EDIT: Also, she has some skill is she can sit above me without my family realising there is a monster on the curtain rail.. and why are they always a 'she'? never a he. always a she. all screamers.. female. they wonder why they have a bad rep.
