Yes, I did get SRL Members with a copied script, and hence I am probably never going to move up in the community. Good for you, you finally realized the true reason, and this is the only truth in your post! The rest if complete bullshit, and I will explain why.

"manipulating IRC"? You can not manipulate IRC, it is all based at the server.
"spam on IRC"? The majority of IRC is spam, and no one ever receives a forum ban for IRC, due to Wizzup saying that forums are different than IRC.
"look up to me"? No one looks up to me, and if someone did, I would slap them. I am not a god. No one is. There is no "god" in the entire universe. If someone looks up to me, I would just be like "cool story, bro!", and probably tell them to knock it off, or just say "thanks".

And Ill give a review of district 9: this might give alittle away about the story line so DONT read if you want it to all be a supprize
It was made with a kinda documentery feel, kinda like the office, where they interview differant people who were connected with the main charicture before his life took such an unlucky turn. (i wont go into details and ruin it for you all)
Its a very origional alien type movie, and for that reason alone i liked it. Just cause it wasnt a copy / paste of old movie storylines or ideas.
The only thing i didnt like about the movie is how all but two of the aliens behave like animals. I suppose the old saying applies, treat someone like an animal and they will become an animal, but i think it would have been better if at the end of the movie they had shown the rest of the prawns to be as intelligant as the two main charicture prawns. (oh btw in the movie the aliens are called prawns, sorry about switching over to there real name half way through the review) :P

It was a thinly veiled metaphor for racism in the united states, as well as an interesting philosophical piece.

Pros:
District 9 had an interestingly new plot.. an alien ship rests on planet earth and the humans welcome/contain them... the aliens are trying to get home while battling for their lives and what they know to be normality on a foreign planet. Along with the plot.. I generally just enjoyed watching the movie..

Cons:
Some of the movie was just plain tacky... the main character randomly gets spurts of imgunnabeahero'isms... that just bugged me...mostly I didn't like his character... ya that would be my main dislike... the main character's ... character...

I saw D9 and it had an had a very different plot but turned out to be a good movie.

It is a great movie as long as you don't mind the main character being a complete Schkrogalogn McGrogn in a Floppy Jerked Toggn... I can't stand him.. ugh.. he makes me soo mad!..
he didn't completely ruin the movie for me... I just didn't like him.. ... the movie was good though.

He was a Mr. Everyman, and the thing was how he, an "ordinary" (slightly nervous, not terribly bright, kinda selfish but basically kind and loving towards his family) guy would react when you put him in that kind of a situation. Without him, you have no real moral quandary.

I know that... but I could not stand how much of a jerkfaced snob he was... in the first 3/4 of the movie... I know that was his character.. yes I would have been happy with the 'promotion' also.. but .. wow.. what a lame guy in my opinion.... that opinion is of him as a worker.. not a family man.. I have no idea how he was at home... but he truly Loves his wife.. and that is admirable.

Well, he was very selfish for a large majority of the movie. He does what seems to be "right" while it works for him, until that changes (and even when it does, it is not an act of complete self sacrifice)

I guess the question they were trying to raise is "what would you do?".

Overall I thought it was a great movie, I really enjoyed the movie's version of pretty much the insta-charged gauss gun from HL1-2 where it fires a beam and the target simply esplodes into guts and gore

The main character pissed me off A LOT. At times he made me want to get up and punch the director in the face, not because he was a jerk in the beginning but the outbursts of save myself vs save red shirt vs save self vs don't give a shit vs hero mode and constantly changing between them without any transition is ungodly annoying.

One either, A. fuckup in the movie or B. purposefully done for some reason was that in the beginning of the movie it was spelled p.r.a.w.n. all the time, but right at the end they started using p.r.a.u.n. Not sure what that is up to, but odd.

I don't think the sequel will be very good. I mean all they really have to do is comeback, fix the main character, declare war? like the new reporters were talking about, and collect all the prawns and take them home. Personally I don't think it will make much of a movie as there isn't really a major plot there for a 1 hr 30 min + movie.

Overall one of the better movies this year.


Oh and p.s. P1nky, Harry is right. You really need to take some care in typing rather than "OOO I can do this really fast" well it's like sex. You are done really fast, but you make nobdy but you is happy.

I think i will see it as fast as i can buy it in the store or i find a download

Although .. they could throw some twists in there to make a sequel interesting... aliens come back.. humans can use alien weapons... man doesn't want to be saved...and so on...there are so many possibilities.

I saw this movie a few days ago; I personally disliked that movie. It was very overhyped, and was not very good, in my opinion. It could have had a lot of potential, but the director or writer was a complete idiot. Basically, all they did in that movie was say "FUCK" every 15 seconds, to be honest. I did not find it exciting, and would rate it 1.5 stars out of 5.

I saw it about 20 minutes ago. I didn't see a great quality version, but still I thought it was pretty good.

I thought that the movie was a decent plot, but to me, the sequel will be better. Red Coat will have to come back to save his people on earth because of them doing testing on the prawn, but since Red Coat has the feel of a non-aggressive prawn, I do not believe there will be a war.
