It is time to elect the world leader, and yours is the deciding vote. Here are
the facts about the three leading candidates:


Candidate A: Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologers. He's had two mistresses and was not discrete about it. He also chain smokes and drinks ~10 martinis a day.

Candidate B: Was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C: a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, politically conservative, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and hasn't had any extramarital affairs.

I voted A. Seems like a pretty nice guy to me. Seriously, though, I knew what the answers were.

Biased stuff.

Hitler wasn't that bad, he did great (!). It was the nazi-stuff that made it all nasty.

Too little info. You do not discuss their political beliefs or the like, only a few aspects of their life in an attempt to persuade us to choose C over A or B.

I can safely tell you that I have not smoked or drank excessively on any occasion for the last 15 years. I haven't been involved in any office related scandals; I haven't been in the press under negative life.

There is a lot more that would make me an ideal political candidate, but I think this is sufficient to highlight my point that your topic for discussion is flawed.

Ya know, Hitler would've been hailed as one of the best rulers of all time... if it weren't for the whole Nazi-ism, Jew-killing rampage thing.

That's who i voted for. Being kicked out of office shows he has his own piece of mind, no matter if it goes against the boss' mind, I'd like to be led by someone who has his own ideas, his own dynamic. Sleeping until noon is not a bad fact to be honest, you have to consider the possibilites. Maybe he's so into his work he went to sleep at 5am, just to get that extra thing done. Using opium in college - so what? So do I, and everyone does it for different reasons. I'm for the philosophy that you should try things at least once, and then you can either choose not to do it, or to do it again. There's so many questions in life, why leave another one unaswered? Finally, about drinkng whisky every evening, each one has his own thing. Everyone's addicted to something, everyone needs to be addicted to something, as it gives us somewhat of a routine, something to do when we have nothing to do. Most of us just check SRL before going to bed as an addiction. Plus, at the end of the day, we all want to relax in some way, especially if we've actually been doing something stressful as in leading the world.

Honestly, I was quite happy to find out I voted for Churchill.

I knew about this before, but I voted B as well. Honestly, I don't think I'd ever trust a vegetarian conservative :p.

I agree with RM it seems mostly. The combination of getting kicked out of office but not going to jail means it wasn't anything like Blagojevich was pulling (my state's Governer too of all people). I honestly don't care about drugs people used to use, though I'd rather not have any politicians on any while they're in office (you probably won't get much done if you're always high, though the little that you do get done would probably be actually beneficial to the people for once). I don't know much about alcohol, a quart sounds like less than 10 martinis to me but I could be completely wrong :)

1 quart = 1 liter? i think. thats what the internet said :P

the most whiskey ive ever had in one sitting was i think around 400 mL i couldnt imagine drinking 1000mL xD
