do we? is there a working version of sed interpreter? or something of the sort that could be demonstrated?
The "PascalScript" interpreter is an external component by RemObjects. ( http://code.remobjects.com/p/pascalscript/ )
BenLand100 works on his CPascal on and off.
Huh. :) Very interesting. ^^ Thanks for all the info. :3 I can't wait to use it! :D And I'll definitely enjoy the open-source aspect of this. :) And I'm sure there will still be developing to do with it after it's initial release. :p
By the way, kind of unrelated, but do you remember that guy, silentwolf? He was doing the OGL stuff in SCAR or something, and I was just wondering (since I never heard of it after a few weeks after his initial post) if anyone continued on that, and if it'll be in Simba? From what I recall, it was similar to reflection (reflection is like what RSbot uses, with tiles and IDs and everything, right? :p), so couldn't it be another supported feature, like reflection is (was..) in SCAR? :D That'd be super cool, and another way for people to learn more. :)
If the plugin is compatible then I don't see why not. :)
:> Well that's awesome.
That raises another question; what determines compatibility? Are only certain languages going to be compatible? I wouldn't expect EVERY language to be compatible, as most would be useless (to some extent), but are there going to be certain restrictions? Like in SCAR you can only have a few, right? C*, Delphi, Pascal, uhh.. I think that's it.. But you get my point, I hope.
^^ Thank you very much for all the information, Wizzup?. :) Very useful. If there's anything I could help with, I've no life. :p
Inc(Wizzup?.postcount);
I mean please add me?
Is it possible to write a working fletcher in simba? Because I want to make one but not in scar as simba seems to be so close.(or no?) Thanks!
I know kind of late, but better than never.
Do you guys need any computer resources or accounts?
I have 14-ish nicely trained accounts and my boxes to offer.
Hey I want to help with simba! but i dont have a lot of time...would it still be possible to get in on it for when i do have some excess time?
Hell. I'd like to help. :3
woohow, I totally missed this thread until right now :].
Cool thing that we're creating our own scar now. I'm currently working on an Virtual Mouse and Keyboard driver for windows(using WDK) since thats still my main issue with scar (Win API)...
If there's any interest in implenenting such a thing for this project, let me know ;].
// Oh, and I think simba is a cool name, but it shouldnt have lionking graphics :X..

Is the size of the executable (Windows and Linux) huge like all FPC produced applications?
Wow, I must say. This is a really neat program. This is like what every scripter would be looking for in a program. I love everyhing about it, the highlighting of the boxes around the begins/end when you click it (EPIC idea). Love how its really easy to see the brackets as they are in red.
All together Wow, amazing. Hope it all goes well in developing it completely! kudos to yahs.
