UNI decision

Here are my top 4 choices, which one does it look best for you?

I took out names of the uni because I don't want people over look the small details.


Things to consider:
#1 If I study at a highly competitive uni, once I graduate, I am better than the kids from other schools (at the point of graduation). If I don't go to work right away, I get beat down.

#2 Graduate schools need a decent GPA, if you want me to rank option 1-4 on how easy they mark it would be.
Opt 1: 9/10
Opt 2: 7/10
Opt 3: 6/10
Opt 4: 8/10.

#3 Social thing and the-big-thing-about-finding-the-one-during-uni.
If there are no social scene then finding-the-one won't really work if you know what I mean.

#4 They all cost pretty much the same.

UNI? I assumme University of Northern Iowa?

I would say option 3. Going to a school in the middle of the city is nice because, you are there in the middle of town, and you don't need to drive far to do stuff and most of the time, a lot of action is centered around campus. Lakes are always nice and with i being close makes it an easy get away from school and everything.

To be honest, its more of a decision of which school feels the best to you. You can't really tell until you visit all your choices. I attend UNL and have visited numerous schools all around the country, and from the moment I walked around UNL's campus it just felt like home to me. Just a choice that you're going to have to feel out and decide where you feel you fit best.

i would also suggest either 1 or 4.

I'd probably pick 4 as well. But I might change my mind if I actually knew the names of the schools in question (probably not though).

meh, seems like a pretty poor decision matrix to me. Everything is skewed about stuff you like. Such as mentioning a lake in 3 of them. And the social "Better than you can inmagine. [sic]" That doesn't tell me much. So I can't really form an opinion. And I think you can find #3 social everywhere...

I didn't apply to UWO but I heard its awsome.

Option 1, its basically a combination of a ski resort and a camp beside a lake.

Option 3 Has no other social scene I am afraid.

*cough* party university..thats all *cough*

well if you are anything like me (addicted to alpine skiing) then the possibility of living near a ski resort would be very appealing. but to be, the education section should be the most important. option 4 seems to have good education + experience in your field of study. on top of that, it has a good social environment and located in a decent spot.

I love skiing. :)

Go to Vancouver and ski/mountain bike. Whistler has some of the best mountain biking in the world. :thumbsup:

What program? Social sci? xD

i'd have to ask around. its not comp sci though.

One of those school is UoT, one is UW, and one is.. Mac?

UoT is too too big, UW is great, but its a harder program. Espectially chemical eng. Mac, I can't really speak for, I don't know. But I have a few friends there who like it.

UoT is a good program, but the school itself is daunting.

Also, your matrix blows.

Of course Mac for eng. the problem for some people is that it is common first year and you may not get into the program you want. I dont know about the Universities in Quebec, but i would go for the one most known for chem eng not the one that has the greatest social life. good luck!

We do that here too, its competitive to get into the easier modules.. sadly.

Number 1. Their graduates probably suck cause they're too busy partying. Do both? You'll do well.

#1 is UBC
#2 is Loo
#3 is Uot
#4 is queen.
