These aren't hard... If you take the course.
The limit ones are crazy :(.the integral is just split the thing from b to a -> -(0 to b) and 0 to a.
The limits are merely applications of l'Hospital's rule, one is a Renault sum, then logarithm rules simplify easily..
Wow.. I need to use my brain more...
do you mean riemann sum? or something else?
This example is very useful for basic level students. They can easily learn that calculus and also they can get benefit from them.

1b (x-1) = 0 for x=1, you can't divide by 0
1c see above, can't divide by 0
1d infinite sums are hard to do
