The server is seriously laggy today... I just blew up my castle project because I mined a cobblestone and the server didn't know that I mined it so I just keept on mining it and then suddenly I've triggered the tnt that was on the other side of the cobblestone which caused a chain reaction of all the tnt I had put inside the walls resulting in this:

Yea but I suspect that for currency/roles/towns etc to work well a lot more people would be needed. Not necessarily online at the same time (except for maybe wars), but they all might want to connect at the same time (weekends, late GMT).
I found cheaper at http://mynecraft.com/ . Its $25 for 12 slots (or $239.99 for 256 :p) per month. If someone wouldn't host it on there home connect then that looks like the best bet
Note to everyone and self: Do not attack mine carts or they glitch up. Don't know how Notch got to kill his, but when I made mine and attacked it, the car went into this permanent oscillation really fast and never removes from the map + glitches up human if you touch it. Had to kick myself a few times.
You drop lava on it to remove it. They are broken and have a high chance to be fix on the 31st(WOOHOO!)
It's kinda laggy, but I've been killing time on 80.212.210.179 (no item spawning, first public server I found).
I gave SmartzKid access too my server so as soon as he uploads newer maps, the server will start rendering them (This takes at least 3 hours) and they will be up at http://map.ionoone.com/
