Actually injecting is far from useless, but it is easily detectable (if even attempted, but if I'm not mistaken jagex doesn't do this
yet.) Anyways injecting doesn't personally interest me, but packet spoofing is quite cool on the other hand...
Packet spoofing would create the ultimate bot, but there would be far too many packets to spoof due to jagex realizing this is possible... and creating macro detection system and probably some type of protocol for all the packets.
This means that not only would you have to send runescape packets of specific actions (which was previously possible, and is still possible but you'll DEFINETLY get banned for it) but also packets for things that the macro detection system takes note of, such as packets of mouse movements, positions, and virtually every packet that the client sends which is necessary to not get flagged by the system.
The only way to figure out which packets are to sniff those packets, figure out what they are, and attempt to duplicate them. To make all of this harder jagex
probably encrypts them.
That being said, after you create this said bot which spoofs packets through a lot of boring and tedious work (which you will most likely have to update every single small update), you would actually be able to find glitches in the game allowing you to create hacks, which is how the first item duping appeared on the scene (sending trade packets with false values which weren't checked server-side.)
Feroc1ty a week ago or so heard some very harsh words in his Member Application due to his attitude.
When I saw this post I didn't even realize it was the same person at first.
I've set Ferocity's reputation at 10, from -39.
Hopefully we won't see any red squares on his profile no more.
