Zyt3x, does Scar/Simba not use Jagex's client? It simply grabs and specifies the client screen, so how's that modifying?
What about S.M.A.R.T. though, I thought that was an unedited client using just reflection, which as I've heard has nothing to do with editing the client itself?
I was perusing RSBot's site earlier, and I noticed that almost all of the scrips posted there (a good 85% at least) are tagged either [Perfect], [Flawless], or [Undetectable] in the topic title. Some of them use more than one of those tags.
I really hope their arrogance is their downfall. Not sure how you guys feel about the RSBotters here, but if they are caught during the impending mass ban I can tell you I won't miss them. I know I'm generalizing when I say this, but most of them are complete a**holes, both on their site and in-game.
Edit: Their site mods and script developers, I mean. Can't speak to their leechers, mostly because there's just so many of 'em -_-
I know this. I was using rsbot long ago, and all my accounts. (Almost 2 years ago) on my army. It was just most of the scar scripts I used here were either outdated or didn't work, when I used rsbot it worked ok, some scripts stuff up but I don't use it that often. Maybe like a couple of hours a day?
If I get banned it wont take me that long to make a new account and bot that
dd409, I agree completely :) their community is terrible, they are all angry little 12 year olds haha. Every good bot costs money and so do the bad ones, the only recognised people are those who create the scripts or are admins of the site. Unlike here, where everyone is recognised for the small things they do to help out :) like testing and feedback. mmm SRL <3
That's because Speljohan went out and made the dumbest decision in his life by saying "this bot is a leecher bot and well always will be". I Remember that post clearly, because when Rsbot 1st came around it was pretty badass and they had intelligent members and admin. After that everything went downfall. Lot's of scammers, and phishing. Their community is a mess.
I don't really care about RSBot users arrogance or assholery but what pisses me off is that every world has like 3 bots at every location.
And some places are hilariously bad, just look at chickens. 8 bots fighting over the chicken spawns.
You should see some of the worlds that I try to bot ess on, there's like always a stream of players coming out of aubury's shop(alteast 20+), and don't even get me started on mining guild bots.
Hell yea
jagex can't stop us

I tried to bot at chickens, it was packed so bad. I had to bot on goblins then later cows.
I'm not really the type of botter who just runs a bot anywhere and doesn't care about other players. Most of the time if I run a bot and I see other people there (regardless or whether they are a bot or legit player) I world hop to find a world with no one in it or very little and bot there for a short period
Sticking to 20-25hrs autoing a week for me has done the trick. 3-4hrs/day during the week, 5-7 on the weekend..Sounds human like too
I think a big part of "safe-autoing" would be regularly switching worlds after a certain amount of hours or so have passed, maybe this could be after the script has taken a few hours break it might switch worlds, and if you're running an MSI script, also change what skill you're botting. Rinse and repeat...
I have seen a huge influx of bots appearing in the old regular spots ever since the known release of free trade and the wilderness again :/
Also a good tip for scripts. Normal players wouldn't cut in a populated world like that, they'd probably switch or find a new spot. I don't know just how in-dept reflection is, but if it has the ability to count the number of players within an area, then you could easily get around this by having it switch worlds until it's found a less populated area. Obviously you can't have a static number of people to trigger a world switch, that'd be very detectable later on, but maybe like + or - 3 people above or over the 'population' limit would tell the script to switch worlds.
^ harry's lesser slinger script has that, I think it is quite amazing :)
I remember this script on RSbot had an auto responder and if it detected the word hi or hello it would respond with "yo" "sup" "hey" etc ... and when I went to draynor willows I would write hi and almost everyone would reply with that and I was like auto responder fail
Been botting up a pure for update gonna be pissed if they just ban it :(
