Do you access the VNC server from school/work, or only from behind the same router?

If you did get keylogged how would he all of a sudden grabbed your villavu and mopar forums password (seeing as you hadn't logged into mopar in a very long time). He would only access these accounts if you logged into them again. Also I agree with lordsaturn. Why the fuck would he steal it on YOUR connection, it would lag heaps and could just drop out at anytime? Would he just grab all the passwords as fast as he could before you did something to stop him?

He would have done this on his home connection not with yours

I have to agree with cycrosism, I currently think it was N1ke, no hard feelings towards him, but the evidence and facts are against him.

I'm not sure what to think any more... I seriously doubt it was Nicklas, but who else?

If you can prove that you were somewhere not at your own computer (Airport or w/e) then I guess it's proof that you're innocent..

Implying it's not the same concept. Could also have the RAT run something like cygwin to have the code run unedited, etc.. Could also use UPnP, which is enabled by default on most routers.

Mostly school.. I got 1 hour breaks three times a week, without lunch. Comes in really handy!

Do you guys think its the real Naike talking right now? He hasn't really said much in his defense, which I think Naike would do, and as someone said before, his grammar isn't that best as usual.

Mods can check IP from which each post was made.
I forgot the URL to the mod board though :p, but I'm pretty sure it is, otherwise someone could have pointed it out already.

The houstname of the IPs of the recent posts he has made here match the hostname of the posts he had made over a year ago, so yes I'd say it's him....

All of the IPs from this thread match his IPs from a year ago? That doesn't rule out this complex IP thing that Harry and Mopar are talking about though, does it.

I was pointing out that he usually doesn't have bad grammar, and it wasn't helping him any to be using shitty grammar and making dumb spelling mistakes all the while trying to defend himself against something pretty serious.

but i saw someone say tightvnc, i use that to remote access my laptop from my iPhone.
no port forwarding is necessary cause whenever my laptop is connected to the internet i can access it.
i used to know n1ke, why would he do this?

I do not think that Naike did this, but I do think a reasonable measure would be removal from the BM until things can formally be sorted out. Its a bit iffy, but perhaps make it a temporary thing.

No need to keep Naike stuck in members. :/

IP could very well be known. Other forums, IRC.
VNC Server password -> keylogger?
Using this website -> firefox open? Password stored?
Where user/pass accounts are -> don't know. And yeah, VNC takes some time.

I wouldn't be willing to pay back.. I'd say f* you, you know me, why would I pay for this shit, I'd rather re-bot the whole thing up cus the developers army is a loss to me too.

Doesn't it sound weird that someone is willing to pay back something they never took?

Dunno, if I raided the whole dev army and got away with it great.

Worst case scenario I'll just give back what I took, and since no one really knows how much it was I can probably still make a profit out of it!

And since this is a forum full of computer geeks, someone will probably find an excuse that is plausible enough for me to rely on. And if I've already done this before and gotten away with it, why not do it again?

And right now if Naike did do this, he is still profiting at least 30m from the dev army. Open your eyes people.
