Leaving

Hi guys,

I'm sure those of you who have been here for a while will remember that I've left a few times already, and then came back. Those times I'd left because of school being hard and not having enough time between school, hockey, friends and SRL. This year I was in first year uni, and I had plenty of time for SRL, even if I wasn't scripting very much.

I've recently basically stopped scripting, and I was going to try and force myself to get back in to it, but I never got around to it. That being said, I still kicked around and offered my opinion on everything that I had an opinion on, and tried to help as much as possible around MSI even though I didn't have time to script.

I've never really done anything fantastic worth recounting here. I guess the coolest thing is that I've been here for four years.

Now some shit's come up in RL and I don't feel like doing much at all with anything. So I'm going to leave SRL to figure life out and spend time with people. Hopefully I'll have more time for myself and I wont have a situation like this happen again in life, but I highly doubt that I'll come back.

Pretty sure I've said that many times before, but it feels like this actually is the last time I'll be here. I guess I'll kinda hang out until this thread dies, then I'll be gone. For anyone wanting to talk, PM me your msn and I'll be on to talk about any real life shit you wanna talk about, I'm always down for chatting. This is getting all long winded and stuff now, so goodbye SRL.

Sad to see so many good people leaving. I hope we can still have you back some time. When I got banned I was never going to get back, but this is the best community I have been part of, so I just couldn't resist the curiosity how things have worked out. Lets hope you get curious again when you have sorted out your life ;)

I'm sure I'll get curious. We'll see. If SRL is still around in a few years I'll probably stop in. PM me your msn if you want to still chat and such though.

Also, if Cohen ever reads this, I'll be on msn to throw opinions at you about MSI if you ever want, I like to think that you value them. At anyone not involved with MSI dev stuff, don't bother bringing SRL stuff up with me anymore.

when others have left they never gave permission to take over their scripts so they died, are you giving anyone that permission so your great script stays alive?

I encourage someone to take my code and do something useful with it. Any of my old scripts, or those which are currently working, may be used in any way which follows the rules of SRL.

@Everyone saying you'll see me soon, I hope not. It's not like I have one single event in my life that can be fixed eventually and then I'll come back. It's about cutting back on the things that I don't need in life, and moving on with more important things. The only things on SRL that I love are the people, the community. But I'm not staying just for those 10-15 people when I'm so fed up with the other 150 active people in the community, always bitching and complaining about this and that. The respected people stealing accounts, the rest of them always publicly fighting, being high off random shit and posting random bullshit. What I want right now (and for the rest of my life) is to say fuck off to everyone who causes any unneeded stress in my life. And when I can, I will. So fuck off to the people who are just here to cause shit, and ruin the community for others, and disrespect authority time and time again. Maybe I'm taking the internet too serious, which is why I should just leave, and communicate with the real people. That's why I'm offering to give my MSN to anyone willing to PM me and ask for it, so I can talk to the important people here, about life. Not who likes RRL and dislikes the Reflection devs and doesn't enjoy IceFire's rants about SCAR or whether Feroct1ty is disrespectful to me, who gives a shit. I just want to talk about RL. I live in the sticks (AKA middle of nowhere for those of you who don't live in the sticks) and that's how people speak here, so I just left it :)

Just seems that people get fed up and all leave around the same time. Sometimes they come back, sometimes they don't.
