Livid Farm script, would you use it?

So I made a mental skeleton of a Livid Farm script, and I think I can do everything except for the fence repair. (I haven't started the quest to unlock that spell) I just think it's about time SRL gets up to par with the other java bot's advanced scripts.

For this activity, you need a few mid/higher level stats as well as Lunar Diplomacy quest. It also chews through astral and nature runes, but that's nothing we can't bot, right? :rolleyes:

For more info on this activity you can view the guide HERE. This gives a very generous amount of Farming exp, as well as Magic/Crafting/and Agility exp. It's also required for very useful spells like 'Repair Rune Pouch', 'Disruption Shield', and 'Vengeance Group'. These take alot of time to unlock, so wouldn't it be nice to have a script gather points for us while getting multiple exp at the same time?

One step I can't figure out how to do is 'Recharge Pauline'. I've never even made a script that deals with NPCs, so chatting/selecting chat options is beyond my ability, so maybe if someone wants to throw a few pointers my way, that'd be GREAT!


Thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

That should output everything about the npc.. including the animation it makes when pauline is drained..

Then do something like AreWeInteracting.. to see if your interacting with her. and for chat uhh I never really checked NPC chat :S I only checked for stuff like player chat using LastChatMessage and R_LastChatter, etc..

Chatting/selecting chat: FindNPCChatText(txt: string; Action: (ClickLeft,ClickRight,Move,Nothing))

as for interacting with npcs, get their ID, then do GetNpc(ID) or GetNullNpc(ID) depending on the npc. after that just take the tile of the npc, mouse there.

Ah great! I looked in reflection's NPC file but I never found anything to do with chat. I can surely use that!

And ggzz, I can use 'AreWeInteracting' for failsafes, so that'll come in handy. So what's your twos' opinions? Is it really worth making or would it be a waste and never used?

You should do a poll :), the main problem is obviously that you need very high levels to run this script, and people might not want to bot with that account, however I would though if I got 60 farming :)

I don't really know since im not p2p, i had a look at it and seems to me that you already need a fairly high lvl of magic to start off with. But if the xp/gp/hr is good, then i guess people would use it. You could try make it just to learn something new(i make most of my scripts by trying to learn new stuff)

Yeah that's true, it would be some good experience for me to try it. Although I ran into another snag. Apparently the diseased version of a plant and the healthy version of it are exactly the same ID, so the ID remains the same, only the color changes. It wouldn't be too bad but alot of the colors in healthy plants are used all over this area, not to mention people standing on top of plants, blocking the view... Bleh, I was really hoping curing a plant would change it's ID completely. :(

You must know something I don't. I can't seem to find anything else that might change with an object in reflection's Object. I was hoping Object_Interactable excluded objects with 'Examine' options, but apparently they're also considered 'interactable'.

I believe its the same as the Prison Pete random? I think you can use index's though to find which plant it is..
Check out this, its a livid farm script that works and it tells the difference between the plants and when pauline is energized or not.. I dont know java much but even I can tell which part does what so itll definitely not be too much work..

what i mean is there are thousands of more "hooks" then what is currently used in SRL-Reflection. If you are looking for a specific hook try asking Pyro nicely :p

Ok thanks, I just might try dropping Pyroryan a line, maybe he'll fill me in on something like 'Object masks'.

I would use it. Add an option for the fence fixing please because I can use that spell.

I would use it, because Livid Farm is by far the most boring game I've ever played on Runescape, but I really want the spells.

i didnt say it was a gravedig, i just said im not sure hes still making this being its been a month and no new posts

I'll still make it when Reflection 2 is a go. But I've other scripts that will come first before this. Model clicking is required for this.

so model clicking is unnecessary. :p

Just as long as we can hook models by their ID's and click that model ID... What else would you call that?

Would be nice to have a script to raise farming, farming is my lowest skill right now :S

I did this activity at a solid 32k Farming exp/hour, same with Magic. Before I did this, Farming was my lowest skill and I had no intention of manually training it. :p
