Waterfiends

Hello all. I am currently in the process of writing a waterfiends script. I have a svn repo here: http://code.google.com/p/waterfiends/
I'm seeking input as to what feature's you'd like to see.
Also, if anyone has an interesting name for the script feel free to share.

Please bug me often so that i actually work on this. Thank you!

I haven't worked on this yet. I have all weekend and I plan on spending time on this script. If you'd like to use a waterfiend script that is free and feature rich PLEASE show me that by either sending PM's or posting on here. Post everything you want and I'll add what I can in the first release. ANYONE willing to help in game by getting pictures(all bmp's or png's obviously!!!) please let me know when you're available. I don't currently have a members account so if you find it in your heart to let me borrow one let me know, otherwise development will depend on pictures or me wasting money on a game i no longer play :P

waterfiends are for crimson charms not blues anyhow :P

Make sure it picks up effigies too, and that you can use normal prayers and curses.

Edit* Also make an option to use super pots/piety/turmoil

Water-friend

I'll start with only using the fairy rings. I like that option far better.
I don't think there is ANYONE with stats to kill waterfiends that hasn't done two seconds of fairy tale part 2. theres no requirements... so idk why they wouldn't have...

Umm, fairy tale part 1 is the ONLY requirement to complete the REQUIRED PART of fairy tale part II.
Fairy tale part I is about 7 minutes long. The req'd part to use the fairy rings in Fairy Tale Part II is about 45 seconds long :)
seeings how the rings are 20X faster then the games necklace tele and that section is a bit safer I'd think this reason ALONE is a compelling reason to do the quests.
Even fairy tale part III is great to complete(allows access to rings WITHOUT a staff)

Im 99 str and stuff and Ive killed water fiends to get 68 summon and I have never even closely considered to maybe think about getting around to doing any of the fairytale quests :)

Also, I would recommend making it loot all stackable items because from like 47-68 or about 3k crimsen I made around 2-3m just looting stackables.

from a script that has 10,000 users. Sorry for this being so long. :(

To optimize this script I suggest you run the RS-Buddy scripts just to see how they function, I used DutchWaterFiend to get 79--> 99 summoning in less than 2 weeks. @ 85 crimsons / hour (About double the average for populated worlds).

Most people get about 40-60 Charms per hour using the recommended set up
But the setup below is by far the best possible.

If you skipped reading it here is the summary;
- Pray Turmoil + Soul Split
- Armour boots prayer + Crush attack
- Zammy spear // Chaotic maul

Making a nice form would be awesome + better for n00bs that want to use it.

I've used dutch fiends and artefiends(used to be pnFiends i believe) on RSBuddy. I only got 72 summoning atm however.
In fact the reason im making a fiends bot is because the good one on rsbuddy went vip/premium...
I believe elite void + cmaul is the best however. you can debate perfect setups ;)
sw cape is FOR SURE the best cape to use. dragon boots/infinity boots/white boots. and one of the 2 higher dungeoneering pray necklaces are the best for prayer. :) the aura REALLY helps with prayer too :D

Uni support, quick prayer, drop empty pots vials, bank with ardy tabs, allows us to pick suplies to use and how many. I have used one before over at powerbot, it was probably the best one ever created, hope you can do better.

That would be great for everyone that is in need of charms! Although, ggzz said that would be his next project. But there's no problem at all seeing two skilled scripters making such script! :)

It won't help with my six-pack. but yes.
It's not really that hard, just making it work with anyone's setup becomes tedious...

You refer to: what to take from bank, what prayers to use, summoning familiars, etc, etc?

First, you should just focus on how to make the script to 'run' is a specific spot of the dungeon, preferably, away from brutal dragons.
Get a way to escape from it, in case of loosing much hp in a matter of seconds ( if you are hit by fireball, you would have to click on a tele tab, and terminate script ). Make a good drop picker.
And later, you would look at those setup options, by the user.

If i do write this I'll write it for my main using his setup. I've killed thousands of fiends legit and upwards of 10,000's of them botting. I have a VERY good idea of the absolute best methods.

I have only killed waterfiends as a slayer task. There are many setups, I believe. But I always used the cheapest set in the market: black dragonhide :D
But feel free to use your main's setup. I got money to cover it :b but...which set do you use ? :)

Or elite void with deflector and goliath gloves. It's a lot more efficient.

They're not worth botting with. Only last 2 hours in combat and you can't own more then 1 at a time... I'd like to argue their efficiency but it's a moot point because they're NOT good for botting.

EDIT: they're nice gloves tho :P
