August 17th RS Update ~ How it effects MSI

Right, so Jagex went and updated the graphics for the major cities, which means several MSI scripts will no longer work. We need to compile a list of which scripts are broken and some details about it. Any help is appreciated.

• VE Oaks - there are two Oaks north of the path outside Varrock and two trees south of the path. SCRIPT_VE_OAKS could use either
• VE Trees - there are about 4-5 normal trees in this area now, so I wouldn't say there's much point in SCRIPT_VE_TREES anymore
• GE Yews - same 3 trees, new graphics
• New Oaks location - 3 trees just outside of GE

I haven't had time to explore Falador and Lumbridge, but I don't think they'll be affected as much as Varrock. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

E: Also, the city's SPS areas may need to be updated.

Edge Yews didn't work last time I checked.

Bah, what a pain.

I'm nearly finished with the new TLoc stuff. Hopefully I can get things finished tonight. Then we just tweak object finding to be as accurate as we can with these trees.


I saw the thread about a better way to find these new trees, though I'm not sure of one right now honestly.

Commit what you have, I'd like to see it. :)

I'll update SPS maps today but only F2P area, since these updates only affect F2P area (for now). ;)
