OK, I thought you were trying to troll me...but Google confirms this. I have known for a while that he had Pancreatic Cancer, and once you are diagnosed with that, you are counting the days. It is a sad day, maybe even the reason for no iPhone 5 - as to not coincide his death with the release- but he will always be remembered for his 'innovative' technologies he brought to the world.
Not necessarily.Quote:

Sad to see him go, however I did lol at this comment on imgur, "The ignorance on this site baffles me sometimes..a moment of silence for the legend who paved the way for our beloved Android to thrive. "

She be crazy. Who does a book report on steve jobs in grade 6?
Also based on this video evidence, I think we can safely say she is mentally unstable. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHMOtTLObpw
But yeah its sucks, I wonder whats next for apple. We all know how well they did on their own last time Steve was away from it... but this time he got fired from life.
It was thanks to Steve that Apple came out of that situation where it was. Thanks to Steve who brought innovative ideas to Apple. Thanks to him, gave another meaning to the world. I hope Apple does not disappoint us all, Steve, and that continues to follow in the footsteps of this great man.
Dude, you are talking as if there was a time that Apple was without Steve Jobs and dipping down? He is the guy who started Apple. I can see that you like white, expensive computers but he was just another company's CEO. And to be quiet honest, he is an ass for not donating anything from his wealth to the charity.(Had over 5 billion USD)
apple users, your leader is dead.
He was someone I admired. Yes, I like those white and expensive computers... Although, I've never had one in my life. The only thing I've had from Apple, was my iPod.
If he never donated anything, that's his problem, not mine.
E: Yes Indeed. I've been doing some research and it seems that Steve has ever donated :/ Shame..
I'm thinking about designing a car.
I think I'll make it only accept my brand of gasoline, but make it even easier to drive by removing the transmission entirely, allowing it only to go forward. It'll be all white, with my logo plastered all over the hood. It'll break down less often than other cars, but that's because its drivers will only be able to drive it on the highway, at a top speed of 45 mph. When it does break down, you'll only be able to get it repaired at my garages. You won't be able to add any performance parts, because everything inside will be proprietary. That's okay, though; a new model will come out every couple of months, so you can just throw the older model away, instead of upgrading and maintaining your current one. I'll charge double for this car over what my competitors do, and make billions. I'll horde wealth throughout my life, rarely giving to charity.
And when I die, I'll be called the Steve Jobs of our time.
People are not mourning the loss of steve jobs. Mactards are mourning the loss of the iphone.
RIP Steve Jobs out of civility
but seriously lets not act like his life works were on par with Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Einstein, or Iron Man.
People giving him way too much credit... ffs. he never even donated any of his money.
They are going to keep his DNA http://www.latimes.com/business/la-f...,2205323.story what a joke.
Why is it a problem that he never donated? Just because he's rich doesn't mean he's a bad person if he doesn't donate it. Most charity organisations hardly use the money for a good purpose anyway. For what it's worth, I like Steve Jobs a lot more than Bill Gates.
Linus Torvalds all the way!

Sucks that he had all the money in the world yet it was pointless.
Society is designed in a way that forces a lot of people into poverty. Obviously society would never go anywhere if everyone was treated like they are in communism. All government and society is bad, capitalism is just the least bad. The reason we have super rich is so people have incentive.
For someone to become super rich then not give a shit about donating doesn't make them a bad person, it just makes them a heartless asshole.
Most charity organizations use most money for good purposes. Some charity organizations use some money for other purposes.
Don't judge Bill Gates on solely your hatred for windows. Windows > Mac anyways.
At least the man did a lot of good for mankind and not just his own pocket.
