Okay good luck.

just a quick question, why do you want to run 50 bots and a minimum of 25?
also, if you do go for the i7, get the 2700k not the 2600k

Well as everyone thinks I want to goldfarm well I currently am not sure I might start offering leveling for some skills.
Yeah I really love this community and I know if I start gold farming you all won't like it but well i'd be sure to contribute some of the money to the community.
And i still am not convinced gold farming is the best way.
So you ARE going to goldfarm...
Here's my opinion about this, maybe you don't care, but i think it just destroys us, the community and the game.
Our community, how so?
Villavu isn't that popular(yet, it will be soon tho), and to be honest that's how i like it here, i don't want that shitty community with members swearing on every post they do, and stuff like tl;dr (w/e it was idk). I just don't like that! Villavu has the perfect harmony of helpful members, GREAT scriptwriters. We even love each other sometimes :p, and what i would like to say to you is, be a part of it, be a part of SRL/Villavu wonder, its not about the money you could contribute, because most of the SRL members(or higher) don't even play anymore, they just stick to the Forum, trying to help somehow... i am one of them, i don't play runescape anymore, still i script/help.
if you still think that's the best way then do it, but i wouldn't recommend that. Anyways, good luck
Like I sayd I consider it anyways I hope that the normal bots like reflection come back so this site won't be affected by the bad community's.
I could find a different indirect gold farming way wich doesn't affects the community in such a bad way like making accounts getting them to a certain level and selling them would be a also a good way to make money.
I could go on and on about gold farming but well it really isn't the main topic and it was pretty much summed up that it is bad and good more bad then good tho.
I do care how this affects the community but in the end it's everyone's personal choice one wich I have not fully made yet.
But to the main topic of conversation if i used a i7 2700k + 16gb ram would that be enough to run 25 bots?
Lol they got a webshop here wich sells the i7 2700k for 1000 usd so yeah kinda overpriced.
Gold farming ruins Runescape, and it's one of the main reasons why Jagex has tried to put a stop to bots.
Unless you use like 30 VPS', that's impossible anyway.
what you are asking is like asking a random person on the street what your birthday is.
Ram is not ram, ramchips got different amount of pins there is dram ddr 1, 2 ,3
different number chips per module. the modules got different speeds. then there is bandwidth, quality, addressing and ALOT more.
Basicly there is alot of things to take into consideration. so the only way to find the answer is to try it or look on benchmarks.
What matters more is what you bot on runescape. There are methods from 20k/hr to several million/hr.
I'm fairly sure 2 half as good machines are far cheaper than 1 machine of twice the power... just saying
All you need is a dual core, like a AMD Phenom x2 550 or something ridiculously cheap, 64 bit, and like 24 gigs of RAM.
Hell, I used to run 6 copies of Aryan on a Pentium 4..
Well on my Phenom x6 @ 3.4ghz, I can max out 12 SMART's. And it's not even over clocked. Once I get some bad ass 16gb ram and max out my cpu @ 4.5ghz, ill be able to run atleast 20. But of course I won't abuse my computer nor would I abuse my electricity bill, nor would I abuse runescape.
Anyway I need a new turbocharger for my car and I could sell a rig that can run your bots if ya want for 2-3k (yes I'm joking)
