The most EPIC lure, ever. (Or just an idiot kid)
So my friend and I were in the GE fletching, when a kid walks buy with full third-age armour. He was like a level 70 something so we knew he didn't get that from actually playing the game. Him and I came up with a plan to lure him, and if it was successful, then we'd have a nice payout.
We start by talking with him and just being friendly, he joined in with fletching. We talked about his armour and and how he could afford it. He actually pm'd us saying he bought it from a site. So that just confirmed what we thought in the beginning.
Awhile later we get him to show us his bank, he had over 1b in items alone. He had two full sets of 3rd age armour, a set of Armadyl, a 3rd age ammy, a 3rd age mage set, the list went on and on.
My friend and I said we were going to go to green drags, and asked if he wanted to go. We told him to bank his stuff and to bring cheap armour and some pots. After awhile of killing drags, he decides that he is bored and takes off. So my friend and I were unsure if we could still pull it off.
He pm'd us and told us to meet at his house, and it was a decent one for his level. Better than mine anyway. We worked this kid for hours, hoping that the time would pay off.
He had to go for a bit and he logged out, so my friend and I prepared for the next step. When he logged back on, he pm'd asking what we were doing. We told him that we were risking the wild to make an epic video. He actually volunteered to meet us there, and said he was going to bring some stuff.
We knew that this was in the bag, but we had no idea it was going to be this good. He shows up wearing his full 3rd age armour, and the amulet. We told him that he should bring less expensive items, since we were only wearing bandos. He denied and so we went into the level 50 wilderness lever. My friend ran ahead out of sight and came back saying that there was pkers coming (Even though there wasn't, was part of the plan). So we all booked it back to the lever, and my friend hid in an area close by.
So I acted like he needed our help and that was about to die, so I go back through the lever. He follows, I really don't know why though but he does, I'm guessing out of greed of stealing some items, and we run back the way we came.
My friend who is 98 mage, runs up and hits him with some spells. The kid couldn't move, nor teleport because of the level of wildy. The kid attacks him and skulls, we knew our day had come. My friend kills him after a few hits, and he gathered the items and we booked it outta there.
When we get out of the wildy, we decide to look at what he had on him. I kid you not, this is what he brought to the wildy.
- Full 3rd Age armour
- Full Armadyl
- 3rd Age ammy
- Armadyl Godsword
- 3rd Age vambraces
- 600M in cash
- And some dragon items
We don't know why he brought those items, but we are glad he did. I got a 3rd Age helm, kite, and vambraces. The ags, and armadyl top and bottom. My friend took the rest, and I was happy with that. Those items alone is 200M worth.
I've never lured before, and I feel sorry for the people who do get lured. However, when you can just buy the items off of a site, you don't hold onto it like you do if you actually earned the money. People try to lure my in my bandos, but it took me awhile (of botting :p) to get that money so I ignore them all.
In conclusion, am I happy? Hell yeah! Do I feel sad for the kid? I kinda do, but then again, those items meant nothing to him so they were replaceable. I hope he learned a lesson, but I know he didn't.
Time to pass out, that was exhausting.
