Okay, first I saw this, thought it was a load of crap until I saw this, then I googled further and then found this from BBC!

To be honest, I never thought a nation could run out of butter as it is such a fundamental food item. Nor did I expect the cost of butter would ever be as high. But it's understandable since Norway's milk production had significantly declined due to their wet season. But still :-/
