Abyss Runecrafting - An ultimate joy to have

Runecrafting using the Abyss and the Amulet of Glory teleport method is HEAPS of money. It's just something that can't be skipped, even when playing manually. If there's a bot to it, it would be just mind-blasting.
And why do I suggest this script? There are some reasons. First, it's beautiful money making method. Second, many people want to do it. Third, it's too difficult to make for beginners. As I read through the Script Request subforum I see too many scripts that are quite simple to make, may only take 10 - 15 mins if editing some existing scripts. So why waste time on those? People should take care of themselves when dealing with minor issues (I myself give much efforts to make scripts that I need). Our pro scripters should work on something appropriate for their level. That's my thought, I hope many people agree with me.
Anyway, If this script is to be made, no one can refuse the cheese it brings.

Highly profitable/difficult/good scripts are Members+. I wouldn't be surprised if their already is one of these, just not in the public. This won't be released, I guarantee you.

all this seems possible apart from getting past the obstacles in the abyss. don't see how that's going to work.

Icefire (wanted) built one in color back in the past. I'm sure it's very out-dated now, but regardless it's definitely possible. I made one, only in reflection, a while back to start out making death and blood runes. It never really took off.

But yeah, the hardest part of the script is getting from the outer ring to the inner ring.

Couldn't you just make it run around with the cursor on the wall until the uptext said "chop" or "mine" or whatever?

How would the script know which wall is the inner wall?

Could make this but not priority at this time, got few things to take care of in advance, but I do guarantee a script like that would not be release to public, I'd probably be member+

A user had pm'd me asking me to work on this with them.. I was shown a video.. They've gotten it working.. it actually runs and goes to the center of the abyss and crafts deaths.. He's realllllyyy new and asked that I worked on it with him but keep it secret so I will honor that..

But he has done it. His character weilds a hatchet and the rest of shit in toolbelt.. it then just finds whatever obstacle and clicks it.. walks in the center.. find the portal and there u go.

I also completed that part.. hardest part tbh.. is figuring out when u need a new forinthry bracelet AND glory AND dueling ring (as failsafe).. that's about it.. The new toolbelt makes all the rest soooo easy.

can't our walking functions serve well to analyze the map? I'm quite noob and haven't learnt about those advanced walking yet, so I don't know. If the script can analyze the map roughly then it would be fine. When entering Abyss we ALWAYS appear near the agility or mining obstacle (between the two, I think). Therefore just find the corridor is enough, either way will lead to an obstacle. And (to my experience, unconfirmed) better pickaxe doesn't work faster than toolbelt pickaxe.
But why do you need a forinthry brace? Noone is trying to kill a character wearing nothing valuable. Glory is the only valuable thing on me, except for the essences. I never use forinthry when abyssing.

the location of the obstacles changes automatically each time you enter the abyss making it impossible to use methods such as the SPS system.

Idk if this is possible but it simba able to take in 3d images and search for them? we could have an editor outside of simba create this 3d image and have simba scan for the object in screen

3D DTMs and you can see stuff from most angles

Thats what I was thinking, with the new toolbelt, you have so many options for getting to the center that it shouldnt be too terribly difficult to do

It is fine to keep your script for yourself but using these lines:

"My script is perfect, and my script is private. Rather than share, I'm profiting in the thousands of dollars."

Makes you seem despicable in my opinion. This is a nice community and you should be nicer/supportive to others instead of discouraging them and rubbing stuff on their face. Probably make Public Abyss Runecrafter and crash prices so you cant profit in the thousands of dollars.

Scripting doesn't take hundreds of hours, and dont bad mouth Flight, he is a nice guy and deserves everyone's respect for supporting the public community at SRL.

This is not a business, this is a scripting and learning community, as far as I know SRL doesn't support goldfarming, keep this kind of information to yourself.

I love this place, and demise has a zmi script that's pretty damn sexy!!

@Demise I think he just doesn't want anyone (Including flight) to release one.. I wouldn't blame him as all rune prices WOULD definitely crash.. if this was to be done it should indeed be members or higher even though I'm not a member..

Think about it.. the amount of views this thread already has.. if indeed one is made.. would you keep it to yourself? Or would you release it?

I would release it because when I script, I script for SRL and the community, I don't script to get rich or for profits. I believe the common good is more important than his personal greed.

Don't take me wrong, I am being understanding, just the way he said it changed my mind on this post.

Besides, if I make one, it is my script, my work, my time, my dedication, and my willpower. I can release anything I make if that is my decision. It is not like Abyss Runecrafting is a "secret" method that I am leaking. Everyone knows that Blood and Death runecrafting makes money.

One last note, I despise goldfarming because it is my personal opinion that it ruins the game. Botting should be used to advance our accounts and to gain experience, profiting should not be a goal, not even in real life.

I make this, profits drop to 200k/hr. Everyone does this for experience instead of money. Runecrafting gains more fans, RS accounts have better RC stats, RC doesn't get goldfarmed, I win, the game wins.

ZMI is the fastest XP in the game.. Well besides a tiara maker <-- costs money to do. if deaths and bloods were 200k an hr, no one would do them lol farmers would buy them all out on ge and hoard them till it goes up. That's right you can do what you want with your script.. IMO your both right.. he's right to hold onto a script HE made.. whereas your right in that you can release a script YOU made.

One problem though.. when you release a script, you never know who's going to use it.. goldfarmers can also use the script and still profit despite your efforts to keep the prices safe.

As far as I know.. Gold farmers depend on us.. if they really made there own scripts, prices right now won't be what they are.

If you had the script set a compass direction correctly, the inner wall would always be on one side of the middle of main play window. That part would be fairly simple as long as the script could detect where in the outer circle it is.

There is far more programming knowledge than any one person can learn, you constantly learn, every day. I do put the skills to good use, by doing something that I think is fun and letting other admire my work.

SRL is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to programming, there are so many languages out there to learn.

belbn, people have different preferences. you want to keep your script, fine. But you have no right to prevent others from making their scripts and release them. Don't you see that it's childish to do so? you're just one person. You can't change the view of a society only for the reason that if they earn more, you earn less. In addition, many people out there want cheaper runes, and so do I, that's one of the reason I want this script.
I made this topic to arouse interest in people who want such a script and people who can make it. Therefore you don't belong here, because you're just trying to quarrel about other things. I think this irrelevant discussion should end here.
People, let's talk back to making this script. I'm a noob so I hope to learn from all you guys. Even walking functions are a huge mystery to me :) but I'm always full of ideas and creativity; I mean, inexperienced in coding, resourceful in solution-finding. so I do hope I could be a most humble helper to anyone who make this script.

So for detecting the inner circle I propose that we first find out where we are in the outer circle, then move the angle of play to the correct angle to make the inner circle wall appear on one half of the visible play field.

All you have to do is run detection for a yellow point who's nearest neighbor is further away then X number of pixels.

This isn't a script for some chum to make, it almost takes a certain level of obsession from someone with tons of experience, good luck trying to persuade someone qualified to do this with a thread like this. :rolleyes:
