[SRL-RANDOM] Evil Bob's Island ~ Working
As of March 5th, 2012, the Evil Bob Island random is working. If, for whatever reason, the solver failed, please post the debug text (found in Simba/Includes/SRL/logs) and if you're willing to let an SRL developer use your account, PM the account details to one of the following developers:
- No one.

Had it today. Didn't detect it. IMO none of the randoms are working. Haven't solved one within the last 2 weeks for me.
Maybe you should change all to not working. If they they work then people will post in the thread.

I've failed two bobs last week.
Don't have the computer I was running it on though, I'll post back later.

In the OP you should add where exactly people can find their debug logs to post.

Does SRL keep logs of randoms? I can't find any log files.

Mm, hey!
I'm not quite sure that it's working, at least it's not detecting it and that's not good, my main was standing there again for 30 mins doing nothing...

I'm going to replace the current InEvilBob with the one I wrote for the new system. Should help things for now.

It's not supposed to click on the portal, it's just supposed to open the door, you get teled out then.

This is for the Evil Bob Island, not Prison Pete, but now that you say something, the prison is also called ScapeRune in the game. I'll make that more clear.

I got this random and it wasn't detected, so the script I was using just sat there for 2 hrs until I manually stopped it.

Was probable the script then. It's not calling FindNormalRandoms often enough, or not in the right places.

AFAIK, the detection for this random works perfectly fine.

I encountered a similar problem of FindNormalRandoms not detecting Evil Bob in my script sometime before. However randoms detect perfectly for any other randoms though.

I hope I can reproduce that later to see if I can find out a cause.

You sure the DTMs are from this random? I can't see anywhere where they aren't freed. They're only loaded and freed once.

Most likely would have been my fault since I stopped the script after it clicked the portal after completing the random as I wanted a perfect progress report :p

When i logged on my character was standing at the center. I still had to complete the random.

Without debug text I can't tell you what went wrong, but my best guess is the script you used isn't calling FindNormalRandoms enough.

Oh, yeah sorry. IT helps if you quote. :p I read a lot of thread; it's hard to keep track of them all.

Any time i get a random and it isn't solved should i pm you to see if you can fix it? I wouldn't mind offering my account to help out.

That really is no problem. Next time I get stuck in a random i'll send you a pm. This will force me to work on some of my script ideas on other characters anyways :p

SRL solved the random perfectly, but after leaving it tried solving it again. Now it is walking around edge, so maybe add detection for if we were in the random but got out? Seems like it left the random, and never realized that it left the random

Does the portal sometimes change color? I can't think of why it wouldn't work. I even watched it work perfectly yesterday.

A screenshot may help. We can test the dtm against it, and if it fails, the dtm can be modified to work.
