The answer to your question should be rather obvious: because stopping botting and RWT is an ongoing process. You've been around to see many bots come and go, and I'm sure you've heard about different technologies Jagex has put into place to combat both of these things. Pretending there is a one-and-done solution to this problem would be incredibly naive.

Right now I saw that botting isn't a problem for jagex anymore they live with it and got over it.
Solution dam if they offered me a job I would came up with a simple solution wich works for removing the rwt out of the game.
Full trade limit for f2p wich I and many others won't like the thruth is we have no choice and pretty much still subscribe becouse members pay and don't give anything about f2p usually.
Now let's see we have a randomized system for several things right? well very simple the sorceress garden allways reacts the same well put the rewards higher and make it a bit randomized so bots cannot fully adjust to it.
You don't have to be smart to even come up with something to stop botting this all are possibility's the best would be ofcourse randomization of botted activities wich isn't a bad idea for jagex to implement anything wich is randomized will feel more playfull (not ment in a wrong way) to the player and more real and rewarding and in rsgp will be more rewarding becouse nobody would be botting it.
Jagex created this problem themselves in a game in wich you have currency and items wich require alot of currency and you need alot of time to get that kind of currency i'm talking about rares that's the real problem without rares we would have very little bots.
So bot nuke happens and rares fall in price why? becouse rares are mainly used by botters.

It makes perfect business sense to hire him. I saw on the day after the bot nuke a jagex mod offering him a job if he could create a working version of rsbuddy within 5 days which he did. I believe he then took it to runefest in which he showed it. After he was given the job, he stated that the bot would need daily updates because of constant updates

Intense debate is intense but hey I personally don't care if he got a job with them or not. It has been seen in the past that companies and even the American government will hire hackers to do some work for them but hey think about it this way. If everything posted is true what happens when bots die? Jacomb becomes jobless :)

Smart move by Jagex, if you can't beat em, offer them money and have them work for you.

That's false, any other bots BESIDES color bots can be targeted and destroyed, but considering you SEE with your own eyes and make judgement based on what you SEE on the screen, much like a colored bot, it will never die, it will simply get better until it's so advanced no updates will be able to kill it. (I'm working on something like that as we speak.)

Well i'm not talking about something as clusterflutter (or whatever it is called), but im talking about a really advanced botting detection system. This in theorie could be done, but i highly doubt it that will ever happen.

When the botnuke happened I saw a JMod (Mod Mark?) post on the forums that if Jacmob actually gets the bot functioning again he would hire him. So I think he just wanted to keep his word?

Um, we are not a new bot. We were around before the reflection bots. I've used scripts from here ever since I've joined, and I've never gotten a ban. Hell, I abused Harry's script to the max (Just like everyone else), and the account is still unbanned with no black marks.

It's all about the scripter, and the time they put into making it undetectable. We have many people here, just as smart, if not smarter than Jacmob ;)

I know SRL isn't a new bot, i am just targeting at alot of people who find a new bot client and are like this. These people were on powerbot and especially RSB after the nuke. All the newbies were like "jacmob will beat jagex blah blah blah". I hate these people, because whenever something is wrong, these people are the first to complain and rage about it. I also think, that alot of people don't know SRL has been around alot longer. I'd love to see all the "herp derp color bots sux" people from PB will come after PB isn't updating and say "i love this bot <3". I am just saying that there are alot of ignorant people who don't investigate anything and complain hardcore as soon as something isn't working right.

It's exactly the same as iBot and the guy who was cracking it like 5-something(?) years ago. Or my memory could be making up that entire event.
