The reason they say a release is imminent, is to continue attract users to come to their site is for increased revenue, either from Gold4rs or the ads they run.
I would like to see it come back, but after playing legit post bot nuke I have mixed feelings about it.

Now i can use simba, and bot anywhere without having tons of botters around me.
And, the price of items are going high.
But, its possible that they'll be back.
I'm not one to envy or hate.. so I'd like to see it come back.. Just actually wanna see the code behind it really as I'm usually intrigued by just code.. Also wanna see how it works and how they got around the legal crap and stuff. Plus I wanna see timer's work on it since he actually started here first.. Other than that.. meh i couldn't care less.. Paris is obv just in it for money.. nothing else.. that's why he doesn't restrict usage or do anything about leechers.
