You can definitely post new functions to the boards. There is a specific area in the members section to do that.
Most of them will not be added to SRL, but some might be. Right now the focus is more to debug and speed up SRL rather than add a lot of new functions. File bloat is a very big concern for the Dev team. However, if you have a great new idea or a way to fix something or solve a random, it could be added. And even if it's not added, posting it here to the forums allows other people to learn from your code and add it to their own scripts.
Umm, just about randoms , if you saw my "completely new..." thread , wouldnt that be the answer for scaperune? Especially for the island.
There are lots of good ideas about how to do something in RS, but until they materialize into code that can be put into scripts, they aren't of much benefit to SRL.
The Autocolor include developed out of an idea about how to take advantage of the RGB color components. But until the functions were written up it was still just a nice theory.
Keep learning until you are able to make your ideas materialize, then you will be making an important contribution to the community.
