hmm from what i understood on how they work they just put them back in the bank... did you check the bank to make sure there were no more planks left? Sometimes it may think there are no more left or the counter could have been off.

Nope, always have them in slot 1 & also searched for 'plank'. Maybe I need to test with a smaller number and actually count them manually to compare.......fascinating to watch this script. I keep waiting for it to screw up as it goes so fast, but it never does :-)
I've tried working out if the 480 missing corresponds to the number of loads*remainder in demons possession, but I can't seem to match it up.
I'm doing another run of 20,000 now, assuming all goes well, I'll compare the two.
haha yeah that is so strange... I've never heard of any complaints, did you start and stop it at all? That might have done it. But you never know!
And yeah it's pretty crazy to watch. I tried to emulate those crazy fast people on youtube..think I got pretty close
yeah i noticed missing planks too. cuz i purchased exactly enough planks for 99, and i even had 20 sc hammers. i checked my planks yesterday and i was short 200 planks for 99, so i got 8 more hammers yesterday. I tihnk what happens is its either when the butler has planks when service ends, or those extra planks in his inventory when he brings 26 back and u can only take 20. so it might be 6 planks every inventory or so.
If thats the case, it might help to change the script. Completely up to you however it is your script. Anyway, that might be changed if you implemented your butler better and actually used all the planks he brought you.
Start with 28 planks in inventory.
Butler holding 26 in his for you.
Build 2 doors.
Talk to Butler (not fetch from bank).
He will give you 20 planks since u already have 8.
Build 2 more doors.
Talk to Butler again, he will give you 8 planks.
You will now have 14 planks.
Build 1 more door.
Fetch planks from bank.
That loop would build 5 doors between sending the butler to bank and possibly save those lost planks.
In a lighter note. heres my overnight proggy for 1_7. <3 you.
This is with 8 SC hammers too btw.

Your door is open and we failed closing - so not a full run this time
20,000 planks exactly starting less 12120 left = 7880 used
But 793 doors made (7930 planks)
This time I'm in profit on doors / planks :-)
(please don't see this as any complaining or criticism - just a bit of fun with numbers - when I'm buying 100k planks and your script is doing all the work for me - I'm happy :-)
hmm haha it looks like the door counter is off. The xp counter is based on your actual xp bar thingy. I think it should be 600 xp/door, but yours is showing 596 xp/door...that could explain the xp/#of planks discrepancy. 472800/600 = 788 doors..so that's where that number comes from.
Also when it said your door was open, was your door actually open? What kind of house design do you have? I may need to increase the tolerance for that..didn't do much testing on it.
Has anyone had a problem with the door actually opening?
I've run this for 4 x 3 hour stretches and this was the first time I had the door error - this was the first time also that not only was my XP/Hr lower but I forgot to increase the slider on SMART. Not sure if connected. Unfortunately logged out before I could see if door open or not. room jpg attached.
4 million xp to go........Is 99 even possible legit?
No way is legit possible with sanity intact.. :P
Whenever it says that and shuts down, will you get a pick and show me what it looks like when you got back to the house? Like is there a door made? is it open? or just an empty spot?
I'm thinking it's just a tolerance issue, I will check it out when I get home later.
V1.8 increased the tolerance for the failsafe so there shouldn't be anymore false positives
I tried doing the left click thing when the butler had planks left on him, but it messes up the timing of everything ( the butler will end up messing you up later ) I'll still play around with it in the future but don't want it to mess everything up for now.
Looks very good, but what level of Construction do I need?
Okay - I did a more controlled test - 10000 planks exactly, and started the script fresh after setup perfectly, reset my XP counter to zero.
All matched perfectly, the doorsx600=xp=RS XP
Until , at 450 doors ish, a quick error flashed up - something about a incorrect or invalid function, or something to do with incorrect height being passed? It disappeared quickly and the script continued, but my door to XP rate has dropped from 600 to 598.something.
Otherwise, still running perfectly as we speak.
Can you tell I've nothing better to do tonight :-)
haha well that is strange. In v1.8 I went ahead and changed the doors/hr calculation to be based off of the xp gained. So if you use SC hammers or some other boosting xp it will be a little off. Since the xp gained is more reliable, the door count is just total xp gained/600. Glad its working well though
Asha'man, first of all: nice script.
Second: why use the Demon? It's cheaper to use the butler and you get exactly the same exp/hr, because the demon's speed is too high.
How could you get the same xp/hr? The reg butler takes a lot longer to get back...Have you tested this? I based this off of this video. The waiting time on a reg butler would be greatly increased.
Also if people still wanted to use the regular butler, they would be just as good off using the larder script. That is unless you know why regular butler would be just as fast as demon?
I'm getting better xp/hour with your larder script. 230k an hour compared to 208k with the doorer. It's probably just me but they both are awesome thanks alot man =)
Thanks for your amazing script, used it for 95-99 :P

Based it on my own experience. I've only used the regular butler, and so far, without using a bot, thus maximizing my own experience, I haven't found the need for a faster butler. Besides that, you can't use up the 6 additional spots the Demon Butler offers, so it's even more of a wast.
If you want proof, let me vid it.
The only reason I have it just for the demon butler is the speed of the trip to the bank, it's a lot longer for the reg butler. I would imagine you would have to send him more often because of that, but I haven't done much research on it. A video would be great.
If there is enough demand for it, I can easily import the butler option from my larder script.
This script was amazing, and "300k exp/hr" was surprisingly accurate.
How much gp lost per hour do you think?

Glad it worked well for ya :)

Congrats man!
GOOD SCRIPT, but doesn't work for prolonged periods of time, when the butler is diagonal it just logs me out and shuts down.
I have to babysit it which is quite annoying.
hmm are you standing in the same spot as i am in the pic? Will you post a pic of where you are standing when the butler goes diagonal? I haven't been able to reproduce it, but some people were saying that when you fetch planks while he is diagonal, it will cause you to walk out of the doorway. Actually might be an easy way to fix that.
Hey i meant to tell you this the other day but your script got me 99 CON!! Love your script, had a few bugs at first but after we got it all sorted out it was near to flawless! thanks a ton!
Amazing! But normal butler would make a lot more sense since the doors require 10 planks, you only need the butler to bring 20 you planks.
Got me to 98. Very close to 99 but saving it for another day :P
Love it. <3
Wow very awesome! Do you know how much money it costs/h doing this method? I would look it up, but if you know it off the top of your head that would be awesome. :D
I think its like 7 gp/xp or something like that
