Yes, both religions have semitic roots, that's why most modern theistic Satanism is hypocritical. Because if they were to succeed in wiping Christianity off the face of the Earth, their religion would die as well. I do believe there is an afterlife, not necessarily a heaven or hell.

Now what if someone commits suicide say in a situation where they've been captured in a war. They are being tortured. Or commit suicide to avoid any information from being extracted from them. Are they considered cowards or heroes?

What about those with mental illnesses?

According to the Bible, everyone is judged before entering the Gates of Heaven. So technically everyone goes to Heaven, and God judges you based on your actions, and if you are a "good/Christian/religious" person then you can enter. Otherwise, you're thrown down to Hell.

Oh, and God accepts everyone with open arms, or so they say.

OT: There has to be some sort of afterlife... does anybody actually think its just a black abyss with no escape? There is no possibility that your afterlife is absolute silence. I have been pondering the same sort of questions like these for a long time- but these questions are naturally occurring because of society. So when the Bible says "He created the Heavens and the Earth" He said that jfsg? And there are numerous parables in the Bible about Heaven AND Hell. They both must coexist, because a Heaven without a Hell only leaves non-believers in an abyss (which is their conscious thought). And a Hell without a Heaven means there is no reward for leading a righteous life. You need both Heaven and Hell to serve as constant reminders and consequences of actions and life.
EDIT: Nowhere in the Bible does it say suicide is a ban from Heaven... Judas, one of Jesus' own disciples committed suicide

There is a debate that self sacrifice is not suicide, but killing yourself is killing yourself. There is no sugar coating it and saying well thats ok but thats not. Its either ALL OK, or NONE are OK.

Non non non, you will be judged at the gates of heaven, if you have lived your life on earth according to the bible you will be allowed into heaven.
And of course God accepts everyone with open arms, but he won't be doing the same if you committed suicide to get there.

How can you say it is objectively false. Human spirit(our minds) is capable of things far beyond our understanding, Its all about barriers, Which Athiests have plenty of apparentley.

I dont follow any religion, but i dont have the nerve to call myself an athiests. I most definitley believe in something more, It just doesent seem logical to believe that Life is meaningless and there is nothing after we die.

Im not asking for respect from anyone, nor am I attacking anyone..just humans as a whole im getting at.

I never said Belief alone substantiate's anything, I just dont see how people can be so full of themselves that they cant realise that that MAYBE we humans arent the greatest all knowing things and we dont know everything.

I'm not afraid of death + I highly dislike religion, its manmade and imperfect. I love God and I want others to do too. Our mission here in earth is to spread the hope we have and to enjoy life.

Would it be far-fetched to believe religious groups fear atheism (is that right?) because it would mean less money in their pockets? Suicide IS suicide, no matter what the reason why. That was the point I was making, which you obviously missed.

So if I sliced my neck to avoid being killed by a mugger, I would go to Hell for "being a pussy and not running or trying to stab the guy with the knife instead of slicing you neck like a bitch"? Why wouldn't I go to Hell for killing myself? There is no "good" way of suicide, no matter what.

I would consider myself an athiest, and I honestly don't care what religion someone believes in. However, when someone says I should kill myself for believing there isn't a God, then that upsets me.

It's interesting, if Lucifer is the bringer or bearer of light then doesn't that mean that the demiurge (god) is trying to keep us in the dark?

Also most Christians (as well as poser Satanists/Luciferians/etc.) think that Satan's true name is Lucifer when it is in fact Chavajoth.

Exactly. This occurred to me once and I don't think anyone can argue around that. A small group of Christians SHOULD kill the rest, because this way they are guaranteed to go to heaven, whereas if let to live on their own there is a pretty big chance that they will die "in sin" or change religion.

Think of it this way; Had I been killed as a child I would "go to heaven" but now I wouldn't.

Yes, I have read about the Inquisition.

Tbh, the names of these gods mean nothing to me, they are just forms we create to explain that which we don't understand. I personally see Lucifer as the Christian Prometheus.
