At fagex someone bot netted the server with over 12000 in the botnet, overloading the server making it have 100% cpu and 100% ram on the server.

hey guys, im a vet of sythe,fagex, and kaitnieks and ill clear the kaitnieks thing up.
a long time ago jagex started sending threats of suing to kaitnieks. he continued to keep his site up until they messaged him and said if he didnt take it down they would sue him for copyright infringement or something. he then took the site down. the website is still up, but no information is on it. every once in a while he will post a message on the main page of it. su(such as when he posted "I am now a father")
yah if you go past main page there are still the archives.
they have been ddosed a lot and this time i think it got to them, im pretty sure they are reconstructing on a new site dont worry, they'll be back

Yeah, for some reason the site works in IE but not Firefox.
anyway, if sythe did go down noone would care seeing its full of scammers and the only people who would miss it would be the scammers them selves
I was there for Kaitnieks, but the story to me wasnt too clear. All I know is that he was having a baby, combined with some other Jagex stuff (I think) so he closed it down :\.
Sythe isn't too bad of a site, and if you could spot the scammers then apparently they weren't much of a threat.
3/4 of their MM are scammers!! nearly thier whole community is scammers!
