Hacked by Ghouler Script

Don't sit here and tell me I downloaded a virus etc.. I know damn well what happened. It also happened to someone else in the SAME thread using the SAME script. It JUST so happens that on the same day two people get their banks cleaned out after using a script.

I demand something gets done about this. My entire bank is gone. My money pouch is empty. I have NOTHING. It took me forever to get to where I was and because the people responsible for monitoring good and bad scripts let one go right by their noses I get hacked?

I'm a reasonable person. I'm not going to sit here and say I lost like 100m or anything. I had Full Bandos, Fury, Nez Helm, Regen Bracelet, Whip, D Scim, Full Mystic, Farseer Helm, Full Black D Hide with Archer Helm, Ranging Amulet, 2000 Adamant Bolts, About... 2k Law's, 1k Death, other runes I don't care about.. My money pouch had 4.5 mil in it.

I think all together that's around 40 mil that I just lost.

Please someone either refund what I lost because YOUR WEBSITE got me hacked or I'm doing something about it. I am sick of shit happening like this when it's supposed to be a TRUSTED bot.

The nice thing about open-source software is that you can't hide anything. I downloaded the script, noted that username and password are stored in Players[0], hit ctrl+f and found no instances in the script where position 0 in the Players array was accessed to send the username and password anywhere. You were not hacked by laakerules' script. You either have a RAT or keylogger, used a shady java bot previously, or have a really simple password.

How about you shut up and get your facts straight?
You Did NOT get hacked, you posted NO proof, and you come in here expecting a refund for a free service?

Some people... You do know that you aren't going to get a refund? Because we (most likely) didn't do it. Simba is safe blah blah blah.... The scripts here are checked by anyone that has common sense and knows what they are doing. Also that is a good trusted script you are using with tons of user including myself. It wasn't the script and it wasn't Simba. That's a nice RAT you got there.

"Name"
or
"Pass"

and you see it no where else other than declare player.

Sorry for your loss but I can assure you as said above, IT WAS NOT SIMBA. We dont do this sort of thing and all scripts would have been reported by now if they did this. You have been Jagexed or have an RAT. Do a scan and reformat your computer to get rid of it.

2. You can check yourself if its malicious.

As stated above its easy to check, I just did there is nothing malicious in the script. It's a simple script, Pass is only used once in DeclarePlayers like it should be.

Explain to me how 2 fucking people using the same script get hacked in the same fucking day? I don't have any proof? LOL.

Wanna know the be all end all of this? I only have Simba downloaded. NOTHING ELSE. I am a fucking 3rd year student at Ohio State University and I work with computers for a fucking living. I know what is a virus and what isn't. I know how to fucking prevent shit like that from happening to me. I don't download garbage like EpicBot or RSBot because I know they have a history of hacking people. But I fuckin stumble upon Simba who I've only heard good things about and this is what happens to me? I swear to god you guys are the biggest fucking dickheads of all time. It's 35 to 40 mil... Just fucking think for ONE SECOND that something may of gone wrong with SRL or his script. Maybe he updated it real fast to send him our info. Who knows. All I know is NOBODY in God's Green Earth knows I play Runescape. No friends, no family members. I only talk to ONE PERSON on RS and that's someone I met from here. No personal information was ever given to him for him to EVER THINK of knowing my password. I change it frequently too because every time I have to enter my password and user name into Simba I get nervous so I change it after I run a script.

Basically what this comes down to is I got hacked.... By your fucking people....... By your fucking website..... Do something about it. Just once? Even if you are so damn sure of yourselves that it wasn't your website. All the evidence is there.

Also most hackers doesn't hack until after a certain period. Especially if its organized hacking like epic bot, where they do there best to protect their source and extensively encourage people to store player's detail on their built in player manager.

Yeah keep saying I don't know how to use fucking computers when I build them from the ground up. Most of you 10 year old's wouldn't know a fucking thing about that. I run Malwarebytes and my AVG virus protection every god damn day because I'm scared that Simba would hack me. Sure enough it happens. Do you want a fuckin screen shot of my virus protection logs too? What other proof do you god damn need?

wrong, no evidence is here. you posted pics of items... great. where the hell is the ip i asked for. stop being dumb and give us the ip of the person whom hacked u. we can use that to see if this person has an account here (but u being mr. computer would have already known that). stop being irrational, and calm down. give us the script that u used, give us the ip.

EDIT: since your amazing with computers, compile simba urself. its open source. read it, and then compile it. and fyi, im 21. finished my 3rd year of college. so please stop sayin we are 10 year olds, and grow up.

I'm also a third year uni student, I don't work with computers. I can read scripts. I never got hacked. I bet you got phised or something and didn't realize it at all.

Obviously I'm pissed off. I'm sure there are some nice ass people here but I just lost everything I had that took me like 2 years to get. I invested my time into this game just like so many other people did and it was all for nothing. I'm overreacting and I'm sorry about that but to me the evidence just points to something about the Ghouler Script... Two people using the script got hacked. Two..... That's not just a coincidence. It cant be.

I did look at the script. I didn't see anything this morning when I checked. But the SRL has automatic updates as does his script. Something could of been updated.

Unfortunately unless I can tap into some super human powers I can't get the IP address right now. I screen shotted it but I'm not sure what I did with it. I need a few minutes to find out.

Well post the IP when you find it and we will find out.
Also edit your picture to say items I was wearing while using the script because you say items in the pic above where you have a fishing cape instead of the cooking cape you were wearing.

What "EVIDENCE"??

We'd like to hear the other person's argument aswell. Also, most new comers come here from other bot website, you personally stated you were at RSBOTS for years before you came here.

And RSBOTS did hack their users back in the day (not too far ago). And like I stated above... Organized hackers aren't idoits, they usually try to login to the account, and wait for a period before hacking.

Watch your language, there is no need for the swear words. I was cleaned for 700M because of my own mistake a few years ago. It happens.

AV doesn't detect RATs, so your AV log wouldn't do any good.

Also, his thread hasn't been updated in at least two months, so there goes your theory of him changing the code.

Also, your images don't add up. Some have a "sheen" of light on them, and your last one doesn't.

also, make sure u always have security.sex enabled. its an extension that tell u if ANY connections are being made outside of the script. for instance, if it wanted to send or retrieve information from a webpage, then it would ask for ur permission. having this on negates any possibility of a phishing script.

and like i said up above, if you dont trust simba, then go through the source code and compile it yourself. if you actually do that, you will learn to trust it.

There is the other guy who got hacked using the script. It's not a coincidence that TWO people got hacked using the SAME SCRIPT in the SAME DAY. I used this script now for about a WEEK with no problems at all. Then I check my account to see what's going on and I'm cleaned? I check the forums and someone else lost their shit too? In the same thread?

Take the time to look at all the people on SRL that get hacked. The odds that two people using the same script (especially the ghouler, which THOUSANDS of people use) are alot greater than you might think. Everyone always blames Simba/SRL/Scripts right away, only to be disproved EVERY single time.

RAT's aren't detected by most anti-virus, especially the free ones. Malwarebytes included.

If Simba update, then that's only Simba itself. You're making yourself look like a fool here. Saying you studied something related to computers in Uni but get into such situation.

And why would he hack 2 people only? I would had hacked all of you and leave this community. 2 is coincidence? I'd say NO.

100 people got hacked in 1 day, heck 10 people got hacked isn't a coicidence.

we want you to be rational. stop looking at POTENTIAL coincidences. i say this because u have absolutely no proof of the fact that it isnt a coincidence. we want you to look at the code; all of the code (simba/smart/script/everything else) and tell us if you see ANYWHERE where there is a keylogger/phishing excerpt. if you can show us that, then we will believe that u got hacked by it. but many of us have gone through the code, and haven't found anything fishy at all. that is solid proof that you could not have ever gotten hacked by this script nor client.

There was 5+ people hacked same day by using my INI files that I save data to for my 2 major scripts. It's basically automatic so once a vulnerability is found they know where to look. With tons more users on the site its not uncommon to happen.

i also got hacked a few weeks ago with the same story no rat or viruses and boom lost my 70-80m in dbones. it was also with a script the ip was from somewhere in australia

edit: i have no idea which script i only remeber using it on ggzz's azk er and siel karamja fisher. and i only download scripts from here not from pms or other sites

Yes, please give us a different argument. You can state your original one, but it would be pointless if coincidence would be your only reason...

Also, whens the last time you used a different bot/downloaded something RS related? ANd have you changed your password since then?

The last time a publically know hacking script was a person trying to sell on sythe.

The time before that was earlier this year when some one was pming other their "private" nature crafter.

Sounds like a well thought out attempt to get a botting website to pay you compensation for a ruse.

I'm calm now. I just can't believe this happened to me. I change my passwords literally almost every day. I always update SRL, I always check for updates on scripts I use. I'm always checking on them every 30 min or so if I'm doing any assignments.

..... I just don't even know what to say. This is the type of thing that just makes people quit. I wouldn't of been so pissed off if I didn't see another person in the same thread say they got hacked as well.

I would of just said damn, I wasn't careful enough. But I knew I was because I have AVG and Malwarebytes on constantly monitoring everything.

Someone said they both don't detect some things. Which sucks. So maybe that happened. But I honestly don't go anywhere RuneScape releated besides this forum, the official RuneScape forums and Tip.it for skill calculators.

Everything else I do is mainly to do with sports websites (espn, nfl, mlb etc)

Just sucks. I really hope the other guy has a screen shot of the IP address.

Sounds highly unlikely. I doubt it has anything to do with Laake's script. On another note I have a feeling that R915 & orbero are possibly the same user.
