riwuDomDagannoth [FASTEST Melee xp, up to 290k+/hr]

This is a script that fights Dagannoth Sentinel in Dominion Tower, all info can be found here: (pls read it!)

Settings:
-Turn all taunts (start&end) off
-Set ur quick prayers (Protect/Deflect Melee/rapid heal is advised unless u can use soulsplit, turm/piety for higher xp rate)
-Start anywhere near the dom tower bank OR when already fighting the Dagannoth (u must be standing at the same spot as how the script would have make it though, and it'd be better to start near the bank to ensure that the banking works for u)
-Have ur special weapons, wrench already withdrawn (put wrench at last slot)
-Not required to withdraw ur potions, watch how the script does it for u!

Please read the settings in the script carefully, there are many things for u to fill in (its extremely customized :p)

Currently Supports:
-Enhanced Excalibur and all special att weapons (It will use EE spec when low on health, else the offensive spec--BGS strongly recommended since it can lower monster's defence to 0)
-(Super&extreme) strength,attack,ranging,magic and overload
-prayer potion/renewal--strongly recommended to last extremely long/flasks
-Auras!! Useful auras include (normal/greater/master) Reverence, Vampyrism, Regeneration, Berserker, etc)
-All summoning familiar
-Summoning potions/Super restore (will only drink if u are summoning and is out of summoning points)
-Summoning scroll recharging and manual casting
-Banking and restocking
-Soulsplit/Food
-Supports all fighting styles! (melee/ranged/magic)
-Autoupdate (hosted at googlecode)

This gives a nice prayer bonus of 33 without sacrificing too much strength bonus.
You can change the vine whip to rapier for MUCH higher xp rates but u have to repair it manually every few hrs. (I may add auto rapier repairing in the future).

Your Special Attack weapons MUST be in ur first 2 slot, with EE in the 1st slot, or if u are only using 1 special att weapon then it should be in ur 1st slot.
The slot right after ur special weapons MUST be empty if u are using a 2h special weapon (eg. bgs) and using a shield when not using special.

Your pouches can be anywhere but you have to indicate in the script it goes from which slot to which slot.

The potions (prayer and boosts) can be anywhere.
(Bring summoning potion/super restore too if u are bringing more than 1 pouch)

I have not extensively tested what ratio of pouches, prayer potion etc is the best, so feel free to test in differently ratios.

Honestly think this is the most flawless way to train combat with color bot. The other combat scripts, which are said that take charms, get stuck everytime trying to get them, and act very bot-like. Just need some more things like starting a new match when the sentinels die somehow. I'm trying to find a way, if I find I'll post here.

It does have death walk, though in V1 if u perform an action (eg. drink prayer) right after it died the death detection will fail. This is fixed in V2 with a much more reliable death detection.

However currently it does not support banking (going to be a bit of work), so if u run out of supplies, the xp rate is likely to go down since u won't last long each round.

The Dagannoth in the special mode (http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Dom_tower)
You will still have to complete Blood Runs Deep to have access to that special mode.

K man I used the dominion map from from sps and I made this function that will walk back to the stairs if character is no longer fighting:

One issue so far: doesn't seem to use claw special. I have special set at Dmg, open space after first slot. It will equip claws, hit spec, but switch back to whip before it actually initiates the special attack.

I have heard that Chronozon and Count Draynor were once like Dagannoth too, that if u dont have the special equipment u can never kill it, and so ppl start using them to train, but jagex patched them :(

So this may get patched too, abuse it while it last :p Even if it did get patched most of the functions i made can be used for other fighting scripts, and would definitely help when i make a endurance/climber mode script :sasmokin:

Indeed, so far i have only tested it with EE and BGS which uses 100% of the special bar energy. I have a color detection for BGS special but for other specials i gave it a wait(randomrange(2400,3500)). Seems like some weapon need longer waits than that and can be casted twice. Will work out a solution in V3. Meanwhile try use bgs instead, only costs 2m+ and very useful to lower sentinel's defence to 0.

Already have a pretty flawless death detection in V2 that doesn't rely on sps position (and it works if u get dced and kicked to the front of the ladder too!)
I had thought about using bank symbol too but i realise that if u are meleeing dagannoth, there is a bank in the north too (unless we restrict the search area)

My current way to check special is to use timing (spec recover from 0% to 100% every 5min), but in the light of different special weapon energy usage urs may come handy, will credit u if i use it in v3.

I have a low hp detection in V2 too, uses HPPercent<RandomRange(30,50), had thought about adding const to allow users to define at what HpPercent to heal too, but that would need them to enter 2 const (1 for the lower limit, 1 for the upper limit of the random range) as i dont want the script to only decide to use EE at a specific HPPercent, and i think setting it at 30-50% is good enough for most ppl.

Can't tell if I'd rather use this or AZK. I find I go through prayer pretty fast here (full void, holy wrench, greater reverence), and to get full XP you really do need familiar, BGS spec, and rapier.

AZK has free prayer and decent drops, but you have to worry about random events.

Theoretically it should be much faster XP than AZK, prayer potion is kind of cheap nowadays. (do the math u dont really spend much /hr)

Also i'd suggest using full Proselyte armour and SW cape for prayer bonus. Staying longer is more useful than that abit more dmg void gives.
I'll post a recommended equipment list later.

Somehow it doesnt summon my bunyip? Or does it summon it later than before starting script? Settings are right.

Pretty sure it summons it once you start fighting, and make sure the pouches are in the correct position and stuff.

Riwu, I agree, definitely better XP (double or more). I think once you get banking set up I will always use it over GGzz's AZK. I'll need to pick up BGS to really make it worthwhile. Don't really want to drain my rapier here though =/

Do you think turmoil's worth using, or would the prayer drain and having to bank more often negate it's bonuses?

It doesnt summon my bunyip, weird :o

I think turmoil is worth of it, helps to get more hits.

Accidentally missed up an else statement, thanks for pointing out. It will be fixed in v3 which i will release soon. Left with a Withdraw procedure and ranged support.

Turmoil should be worth it after i add banking, u can test out the xp rates w/ or w/o turm later.

It reenter without supply, which means u will die once u run out of prayer and hp, in which it will reenter again.
Finally done with the banking! Left ranged support before i release v3.

Well okay i'll add soulsplit to V3 as well then.

I've timed myself it takes exactly 5min from casting time to recover spec from 0 to 100%, and the wait between each casting is RandomRange(303712,312121)) (slightly longer than 5min), but sometimes i realise the script is trying to use special when its only at 90%, trying to figure out what is wrong...

Just out of curiosity, what is the rough range exp per hour here?

V3 released! Tons of features added again..now supports almost all potions, att styles, banking...everything i can think of :sasmokin:

I suggest adding ability to turn off banking. I cant start the script properly because I cant afford more supplies than for one trip and I cant turn of banking.

Damn i have optional banking in mind but in the midst of adding other features i forget about that. Will add it to V4.

SS works just like how a legit will do it, on it while u r low hp, then off it when u r high hp again. (Didn't have time to test it though but it shd work theoretically :rolleyes:)

Did u have sufficient summoning point, or summoning potion/super restore? If u still have problem, try just put this after loginplayer in the mainloop:

Just realise i forget about 1 last feature again: cast special multiple times (like d claw), will add it in V4. I still recommended using bgs for best xp though.
