Time to hide?

People are getting banned and recently someone I knew got banned too. Is Jagex really stepping up their measures? Adbots have been getting banned at a crazy rate since yesterday it seems. So should we hide for now? Or is Simba not affected, as long as the scripts are good?

Update: So this guy was using a high alch script with some antiban. By nature high alching is pretty repetitive. But this makes me wonder still, where is the threshold for getting detected for repeated movements?

Reported / Detected --> how "bot-like" do you have to be to be banned?

The aim of SRL is it blend in, if you have been following the general botting guides then you shouldn't really need to hide.

Do you know what your friend was doing? Chances are he was either using a crappy script or he was goldfarming in some form or another. Was your friend even banned from botting for sure?

Can we remove all auto talkers from our script section? They attract leechers and just get people banned.

We shouldn't limit what people can create, if someone wants an auto-talker let them use it and get banned.

Yeah a jmod confirmed it at RSOF. These adbots are extremely easy to detect anyway, took jagex long enough to finally take action.

ps. check all F2P worlds... about 300-500 players in each... so long the days of 1000's of bots online

Holy shit this looks serious. Wow. No I am not going to bot on my account. I'll check how it goes for other users of simba first to decide whether it's safe to bot or no.

There are never more than 300 people on the lowest-pop f2p worlds. Mostly around 240-250. Trust me, I hop for runite ;)

Yes this is real as I witnessed them myself. About the incident I mentioned, he was using a high alch script and got banned. It had some anti-ban procedures as well. This makes me wonder where the threshold is for getting detected for repeated movements.

yup, I just did it myself. Reported an ad bot and in 1-2 mins it went BOOM :D

So at the moment is it safe to say that their detection system is highly reliant on the player reports. If so, then it would still be relatively safe so long as we don't get reported? Correct me if I'm wrong

Yeah, I think you could say that. After all, the spammer was happily spamming before I reported it. Dont know however if its the same case for everything else.
Sorc Garden is alot emptier (look at the herb prices) and they report A LOT there, so mayb?

I'm hiding in my POH and locking the portal.

I'm still running my bot farm of 6 runecrafters. I'll let you guys know if any get banned.

This is scary lol, there are only like 110k users online atm. Usually there's 130k+ in working days 0.o

the more people bot the safer i feel becouse people use poor scripts from pb i use premium scripts from this site=)

Sadly I think it might.... at least for a while... Jagex is showing the Flag in a big way at the moment... who knows how much $, time, and resources they are expending though...which will determine how long they can continue at this intensity.....

Right now there are a zillion ant piles of bots to attack...but in time there will be immensely less...so it will be more cat and mouse... assuming of course their detection system is not as great as they are saying

I know there is a bot next to me but I can't report him. When I right click on him there is no option to report, when I click on report it says chose a name of someone that has said something. They are, for now, only going for spammers haha :p

Edit: The only reason I was going to report him was because the bot is dreadful LOL :D

Yeah you can, you go into your settings and then you have the option to right click someone and report.

Oh well, if they do have a way to detect us that is fair game. They win, I will just legit my last like 7 99s. Whooptiedooo.. 5 of them you cant really bot so.. I win.

im personally taking a break from botting. i will resume when the bannings die down though, my guess is two weeks tops.
