Wii Definetly.
The PS3 has very few games that are actually worth playing while the Wii has almost 100 already. I think at last count there was maybe 15 games for the PS3 and they all arent that great.
Even though the Wii doesnt have the greatest of graphics YET. It is still very fun and intuitive to play.
PS3 all the way! lol...wii is only good cause of mario :D.....ps3 just came out give it some time.....and you'll see ;)

Ps3 has ruined Sonys reputation if you ask me. Its large, it over heats, it has few games, and its very... very expensive.
The Wii on the other hand. Very cheap, poopy graphics, and doesnt have ANY compatibility with any dvds or anything (last i heard). So why buy that piece of crap >_>

Definetally, Xbox 360 is by far WAY better than both these. Im voting Xbox 360 because of how amazing it is while wii and ps3 suck.

I own a wii, played a PS3, buddy has an xbox.
Xbox wins in graphics. Graphics aren't everything to me, I still play NES.
Wii is more of a party game, fun to drink beers and box each other, or go golfing completely trashed.
PS3 is a joke.
PS3 way too expensive!! i would have the Wii. its way more fun. and the fat kids get in shape!
PS2 is good enough for me, they have God of War 2. :)
wii has potential, but for now, it sucks because of graphics and stuff. Ide like to see how muc hte wii evolves over time. Xbox 360 is best all around. But what is the best is Animal Crossing on the Game Cube :p

There both a waste of money... wait a few months and download an emu, or find a site with the drivers and play the disc in your comp. (Unless your without a blue-ray drive for ps3 games.)

i like my ps3, and no, wii is not the only 1 with motion detection. in madden 07, if u move the control b4 snap, ur player jumps offsides, u have to sit still. in COD3 the melee move u actually have to do. sony will kill any1 else when they come out with the thing that sends sensory information to the players. such as touch, smell, sight, everything. this, as I have read, should be coming in 2009. this also means that it allows blind ppl to see the game and deaf ppl to hear it, becuz the device is doing what their organs are not.

For along time I was very anti-ps3 because of all those videos that bag it and stuff.
But recently I did research for myself and Ive come to the conclusion that the Ps3 is just gonna get better and better.
At the moment most of the games out now aren't using barley any of the PS3's processing power. And with firmware upgrades being released quiet recently, i see good things in the near future.
Powerful processor, almost better than computers
Blue ray discs that hold hundreds of GBs
Hard drive with lots of memory
Wireless everything on it(but the power)
Ability to put operating systems on it

well for me it was obvious, spend 300$ on a wii, or 700-900$ on ps3, and i dont have that kind of money, so i got the wii, and i love it :p
Dude I completely agree with you that there's no reason to buy a console unless you just can't wait but unless you know someplace where they have magically sped up figuring shit out then turn that few months into several years. For the most part the last generation of consoles only have partially working emulators at best. The X-Box being the furthest behind as far as I can tell from what I've just read at The Emulator Zone. Some commercial GameCube games are playable and the PS2 isn't far behind. It's taken years for them to develop these emulators though and what they've got is partially working at best.Quote:

PS3 Is My Favorite One As Its More Or Less A Crazy Power Computer For A TINY Amount Of Money. Compared To Other Computers of The Same Sort of Power.
PS3 is basically a computer with Blue-ray and some free stuff.
You get a free hard drive.. well actually, you are paying for maybe half the price of the blue-ray player only? its a good damn deal.

The graphics are a pain in the ass too. The problem is Mario has gotten the most detail he can; they can't model him after someone in real life due to his disproportional head.
PS3 sucks too, with the price. If it cost as much as the Wii, then it would easily match the sales. You have to keep in mind that the PS3 costs about 2x as much as the Wii, so sale counts should be 2x as well.
