My area is a Rural area as well but as soon as I got fiber optic it just goes so much faster.

Lol here's mine. My family would get Verizon Fios if it was in our area, but alas, it isn't =/. Funny thing is, I have the best ping out of all of you!! ;)

We have the fastest internet we can get using our provider. My dad wants to get faster internet but doesn't want to lose his e-mail from our provider that he uses for nearly everything.

The speed isn't that bad, I can stream 1080p on YouTube but I would really like faster internet.
EDIT: I think we pay around 40€/month for a package including phone calls etc. so yeah :S

my dad still has his email thats "@btinternet.com" over two years after switching :P
