Some F2P Worlds being removed

I thought they were going to remove f2p forever. On a second note, I recommend they make a quick-chat botting world.

misleading title imo

they'll remove some of the worlds, which is all cool, still f2p will be available though

After few year They will remove it at all..
I guess Activity is low since new account gets trial membership for 14 days with some limitations. still most of bots uses P2P worlds if available, because of more available spots to powerlevel and so on.. I think that's why some of world are only around 200 players. And I agree with

Ouch, right in my full rune :(. This is bad for me, it means more bots in my spots. It's hard to find an empty world right now as it is :/

I agree with you.. I think we getting way too much "updates"...

Like I said Jagex doesn't care about F2P players, they are killing the F2P worlds one bit at a time then they will completely remove it, if you don't pay money, they don't care, they don't even care about members but at least they update members a lot

Guess I know when I'll quit then, I don't enjoy runescape enough to pay 8$ a month. Hopefully it won't be soon, I still enjoy scripting here

I think F2P worlds are nice for players and player training (as you can *hopefully* find an open training hot-spot via hopping to a different world)...

... On the flip side, it seems Jagex is having money issues as they cannot sustain running an extra world server, or several (don't know how many F2P worlds have been cut).

Overall I think both Jagex and the player base are loosing out. :/ I personally enjoy more worlds with less people, even whilst legitimate playing.

When I saw the title, I thought it was all of them. Good thing it's only some of them, or else I would've thought jagex was that much money-hungry.

OT: I'm not sure why they would remove some more worlds, when they need to get their servers upgraded as they are. They better get them upgraded before doing this >.>

Yea no prob, I saw it on the OP lol.. when I saw the thread I was like WHAT? Then came in and was glad to see at least some stay :P

Title was a bit misleading, but what they're doing makes sense.

Title Changed

Most F2P worlds nowadays have an average of about 200 people in them whenever I get on. It makes sense to take some out, but I'm sad that my autoing spots will be more crowded now. I guess I'd better hurry to 99 mining :P

most of those 200 playes are bots, you should check out karamja fishing spot, its nearly empty afte the update

Sad to see some of those worlds go.

I guess it's time for there to be less sever lag with running so many worlds though?

what do u mean by less lag because of less worlds? each world/couple of worlds are run on different servers, so it would hardly make any difference

Lag will actually go up if anything because of more people on the remaining worlds.

Jagex should care more about their F2P player-base since those are all potential future members that might just be put off by neglected F2P content and crowded servers.
What do I care though...glad I don't play. :)

meh, this needs to be done. There are too little people on most worlds.
As long as they don't overdue it and leave w81 alone, I'm happy :)

Is you sig a photoshop-joke on fagex or is it an actual post?

So is this to combat f2p bots or is it because they are poor
