Will runescape do it?

Or be teleported to Moderator Stadium, and if you are deemed macro then your account is locked. Deemed a player, you are sent back to where you were.

A constructive suggestion from The Arche777 states that there should be THREE trials of this read-and-retype code just in case there's bad typers. If you get all three right, you get a better reward than just one. And this would still have the same effect in the case of macroers.</quote>

It doesn't matter as we already have procedures that do some of those things and can figure out a way to do the others.

They wont they will get flamed to much by 9 year olds just like luring.

If they do we will probably be able to figure it out anyways.

Isn't everybody already being scanned anyways?? People who play legit are getting banned for macroing now.. In my opinion, it will just be another task to over come for the almighty SRL. They thought impossible to stop randoms would stop us too.

I actually sugested this to Jagex when I didn't know about this forum! Oh, good thing Jagex doesn't even SEE any F2P messages you send to em! Jagex is so gay sometimes... I got banned for rule one when I didn't say anything, then when I pushed I think you have made a mistake, it 2 seconds later said "You are merm banned because u were in control of ur acct" WTF? they never even saw my appeal!

@mr.klean: yeah the whole sleeping concept made me stop even thinking about mining :D and i played legit back then. and i didnt say that they wouldnt revoke it i just said they would try anything to get rid of macroers, and yet, the always FAIL!!!! lol

@hy: well yes bans/perm bans are completely automated. bad decission on jagex's part. although i did actually get in contact with someone from jagex through billing support. they said they couldnt help in any way but yeah.... i think im going to post a thread about this in the strategical info section cause it was quite enlightening.

That random would be damn hard for the SRL Dev's to figure out how to solve.

Lets hope Jagex never makes it.

Hmm...I think Jagex will try to make more randoms that are going to be harder for programs to detect but I dont think the one wired is explaining will ever come into the playing field. But hey whats the fun when theres no challenge

hell typing in letters would be easier than solving most randoms

Know what scares me? thats a seriously good idea for all we know ther could be a jagex member on this forum and he could be looking at this thinking... *hmmmm* "They came up with a good idea there ill post it along to the other jagex members/community" then we are offcially fucked.. unless some amazing scripter comes along and scripts for the random but yeh thats what i think. I also think people shouldent talk about this in public because you never know whos watching :eek:

jagex doesnt give 2 sh*** bout autoing really they just make it sound like they do.. all they want is members... i says they make it a member random if any

sounds like it would be quite easy to overcome
so what if the its PICTURES of text, all text is pictures anyway, we could just make another character set called CharsRandom, we already have CharsNPC, CharsChat, a next one wont hurt
if that doesnt work, we could make loads of bitmaps and figure something out with them

if non of the above works, so what, switch players and set it to false, who cares if we lose one when we have another 9 lined up

this looks to me like the typical legit player mentallity, they think they know how all autos work and that the solution is so simple

also, even if this was made, it would be very easy for java bots to find the answer anyway, it would only really stop one sort of auto

I agree Jagex aint got Bawls for that.
And as YakMan said it wouldnt actually make any difference.
There would be soon a way figured out to macro that random too.

well to be honest i wouldn't be suprised if jagex did this cause there a bunch of fags. They did the Evil Bob random...(retarded). They'll try anything to get macro banned.

I think if we made a procedure to do this random. It should be done with color and the size of the letters. Like make a box in which the letters revolve or move. And i'm sure that differen't letters will have different colors. Don't know just a suggestion . :)

If I were legit Runescape player, that would consume some useless time and I REALLY wouldn't like it.

It's possible Jagex might make this but not likely.

Even if, we could find a easy way around it of course. :] SCAR is a life saver.

Why would they do this again?
In RSC they already made u type in letters from a picture in when you were going to wake up from yourr fatigue-reload sleep.
And damn, people were angry abuot the whole sleeping thing because that was really time consuming:D

Yea they had this on rsc
Called sleeping bags
Someone made a prog that in whcih OTHER people got your text
they typed it
and your good to go.

Also,
you have to type for other people to get 'points'
in order for other to type for you.
so, no leeching!
