Overview
Simple script that uses superheat item at Daemonheim banker. I will be improving this script to support more ores and improve functionality in the future. Please leave feedback so i can improve the script.

The script has been rewritten, as of v1.0, to use TPAs instead of DTMS. There is also added support for players using coal bags (please leave feedback on this feature as it is untested). There is currently support for Steel, Mithril, Addy, Rune and Gold bars. More can be added on request.

Setup
1. Fill in the player info section of the script and enter the type of bar you wish to make.
2. Make sure your player is standing next to the banker at Daemonheim.
3. Have the necessarily nature runes and fire runes/staff equipped (for best results use a fire staff).
4. Set the '0' hotkey to the superheat item spell
5. Make sure the ores you plan to use are in the top right slot of the bank, with coal in the slot to the left of these ores.
6. Run the script and watch for a couple mins to make sure its working properly.

will you be adding superheat gold soon?

has problems opening the bank, if i disable smart open bank and enable smart it will deposit bars withdraw ores and make bars but then gets stuck again.

how many mithril bars/hr can it do?

Thanks for your feedback guys. Gonna be moving away from DTMs and try get ATPAs working at the end of the week. For now ive temp fixed the banking problem and will add gold in a bit.

Yeah i noticed that when i used it yesterday. It couldnt find the banker colour. I've changed it now and it working again.

powerbot script gets 2k/hr with coal bag :o, was expecting you to say around 1.5k :/

You mean 2k mithril bar per hour !!? That mean it takes only 18 second to make 10 bar, and only takes 6 second to do the whole banking stuff?unbelieveable!!:fiery:

There is currently no support for coal bags, as ive never used them. I do intend to add this feature though in a week or so. That does sound rather high. Even with coal bags it is ridiculously fast. Would love to see a proggy of this. Doubt ill be able to compete with that.

Totally agree with you. I cant imagine coal bags being that much of a game changer.

yeah. Don't think the script is there anymore but When i used it, was getting 2.3k steel/hr.

Ah i see. That's really impressive, might have to train dung to get a coal bag.

I would say thats a great idea. They are pretty simple to make as there isnt much to them. There's just opening the bank and doing the spell really. Then just adding antibans and optimizing the script. If you make one upload it and ill test it out for you.

I've noticed with gold, it tends to leave 1-2 ore in the inventory.

If it leaves only 1, it starts a loop of Right clicking and searching for the 'Deposit all' option.


Seems to be running smoothly after 15 or so minutes :)

I made on earlier, I don't fancy uploading it but its not exactly my first script, was getting 1.5k steel bars/hr, want to hit 2k :/

That's really high! I'm only getting 900/h. I could probably get that up past 1k easily but ill leave it for now. Want to PM me the code and ill check it out? You using any anti bans and random timings? how long have you had it running stable for? ive done 5k today, not sure how many hours that was.

Keep it up bud my own superheater was getting 115k mage xp and around 27k smithin xp hour before eoc making steels. So I would expect a lot more now using action bar.

Thanks. That makes this feel really slow... Ill have to do a bit of optimizing on the wait times. From a quick calc this gives 16k Smithing XP/h and 65k Magic XP/h.

were you using coal bags in yours?

Edit: Post 100 :D

Edit2: Got it up to 1020 bars/hour. Cant see how 1.5k is possible...

it's about what methods your using
you need quick detection (dtm is slow) and ofc fast mouse movements

Thanks killer. I've got my mouse speed at 20, as i think higher looks ridiculous. Would ATPAs be faster than DTMs then? I still dont see how it can physically be much faster. Perhaps i could get it to 1.2k/h if i made it really precise but i cant see how 2k is possible without a coal bag.

I only got to 1.7k without coal bag. Adding support to coal bag and we will see what I get.
and to show you how dtms slow it down, temp change everything to cord clicking (mouse) with a high speed.

I can see how the DTMs are slowing it down and sometimes causing miss clicks. I always planned on using ATPAs for the rocks and moving through an array for spell casting so that it didnt get stuck, just dont have the time right now. I dont really like the idea of just using coords (even with an uptext check).Ill try get it sorted next weekend and see what results i can get.

I never said use cords, but I'm just saying use them to get a target of speed.
Just hit 2k/hr with steel with coalbag

Ah sorry i misunderstood. I dont think the DTMs will make that much of a difference as there is a certain amount of time you have to wait between castings. Just need to refine my waiting times.
I think you should release your script. It sounds really good. 2k/h is just amazing.

make it twice as fast? working ok but slow you can cask faster than it smelts and it holds like 1 or 2 smelts in memory or something makes it way faster anyways if you cast the next superheat before it finishes smelting previuse bar, makes the biggest difference on gold were 1 ore makes 1 bar

mounty's on gold change line 399 and 400 to
Mouse(695,450,10,10,true);
wait(200+random(75));
makes it alot smoother way faster and does every ore every time also change the ending repeat loop to
until false
so it don't stop so soon. runs great!

I will be doing this once i change to ATPAs as it will be easy to switch between the selected ores. However, im not sure how to do this for DTMs, as FindDTM will always shw the first in order. So im afraid i wont be able to implement this until the weekend.

Thanks for the suggestion though. Check back on Sunday and the new release should be up with a faster procedure.

Edit: didnt see that last post. Thanks for the advice. Ill add that in to the script.

In version 0.7 I've added a section to the superheating process which should make it much faster than it was. Let me know if it make a difference or causes any other issues. Cheers folks

edit: Okay so I used the v6, and i got it to get into the bank 2ce, but for the most part it just sits there and dose nothing

v0.7 should work best.
Must be a problem with the DTMs. Do you have your client set up properly with highest brightness? If you could send me a pic of your coal and ore in your inv i can check my colours against your.

Ill be changing to ATPAs soon so shouldnt have this problem for much longer. If you know how to make DTMs you could simply make a new coal DTM or change the tolerance of the one i made.

I'll send you a screenshot tonight, I'm heading off to work, should be home with enough time to set it up.

Even after doing this, it still seems to try and reheat the same ores quite often :S

I would suggest using the most recent version. If you have any problems report them here. Most problems will be to do with colour finding. you can easily fix them yourself by upping the tolerance or editing the DTMs.

You shouldnt need to do this for the latest version (v0.7) as it simply clicks on the last ore in your inv until there are no more (and should double check if there are any left and heat them too). Let me know if you have any problems with the latest release.

I just started to try this, but I instantly saw an problem when superheating steel bars. Sometimes it doesn't deposit 1 iron ore so instead of doing all steel bars, it makes an iron bar and 1 coal is left in the invy. After that it's all bad making a bunch of iron bars. Perhaps making sure that the script double checks to make sure that 1 iron is always deposited before withdrawing the coal for steel bars.

Thanks for the report. I've updated to v0.8. In this version i have added an extra check for the number or iron ore in the inv and made it so that it will deposit any iron bars which may have been made.

Please try the new release and let me know if there are any more problems.

If you want to use this script at the GE it would be fairly easy to make the required changes. You would simply need to change the colour it looks for when finding the banker. However, as the GE is so crowded i would imagine there would be many colour matches and a new procedure would need to be written for finding the banker. But again that would be fairly simple.

As for me i have no plans to change the location at this current time, sorry.
If you do give it a go, let us know how you get on with it and i could provide any help if you get stuck on anything.
