Jagex being fined & Striked off

Jagex is now 3 months behind the due date to file their financial report.
So they are now facing a fine, of around 750 pounds, and on the verge of being 'striked-off'
If they do get striked-off, the fine has to be paid, and they will not be allowed to engage in any trade in the UK.
Not completely sure what striking off meant at first, but hes a defintion from a business dictionary

I wonder if that's the reason of the "premium club" upgrades. Basically they will pay the fine with people subscriptions.

Why would they withhold financial information? Are they having some sort of financial trouble that they don't want to scare their *customers with?

And if they might not be able to engage in UK trade does that mean people from the UK couldn't buy subscriptions, spins, ect? Or that no one could because the company is in the UK?

Regardless of how much it is they owe, it's still putting a bad image on Jagex being behind on critical issues, like their financial report. It's obviously not being handled professionally.

Really sloppy on Jagex's part, the company has just overall gone downhill for the last few years

I swear. If Jagex goes down before my 99 fletching, I will be mad. At this rate I won't be getting 99 fletching.

99 fletching was my first 99 it was so easy to bot lol, Jagex wont be able to do microtransactions most likely

I think the finacial report will show a 'leakage' (for the economics kids) or an removal of funds rather than the injection Jagex would need to maintain a stable company. That's why we keep seeing sloppy mistakes happening.

I hope this is the last nail to higher managements coffin.
This company needs a new Andrew Gower, a person who is actually passionate about the game and the job and who could make ppl cherish 2013/2014-scape just as much as 2006-scape.

Oh how much i agree,

But now jagex has gone so public and has all the proper management, it is infinitely unlikely someone with such passion will ever get involved again, happens to all great games, once the buissness heads take over and the great designers leave, the downhill spiral begins until death,

I still hold hope for RS, but I'm going to try and remain realistic :p

Good, Runescape shut down = more soulsplit players = more people using my scripts.

however don't take that comment badly. I think giving people an include will encourage them to make their own scripts. However it will be alot of work as I don't believe many scripters play soulsplit (but you never know how many soulsplit botters you will attract :P)

Because isn't soulsplit a remake of old runescape? Therefore if runescape didn't exist...there would not be a need for a re-make of the same game

yes but not all of the private servers are. Some are just bot free and have multiplyed xp

But they are still remakes of RS? Sorry I don't know much about these servers never played one but most of them are like just servers that have been remade to look like rs from 4-6 years ago I don't know if there is a runescape based private server with completely different outlook but with the same theory sort of thing if you get me

Ohh, that game saw it advertised on steam b4.

It's a signature which actually isn't a signature. The thingy wouldn't let me have a picture in my signature so I just made something to implement the signature on everyone of my posts. :D It's bothering though because I have to turn it off on other forums. :p
