Earth; Visited by aliens?

I was watching Ancient Aliens on the History channel and was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the amount of evidence that they had which suggests the Earth was visited by aliens before.

On the left side, is an artefact recovered from the City Of The Dead, Saqqara. On the left, is an artefact recovered from a tribe of Columbians, and is dated nearly 2000 years old.

Those two are on the opposite ends of the earth!
Coincidence only goes so far, and there comes a time where coincidence doesn't even make sense anymore.

However, I have a different theory. Instead of aliens, I think that in the near future, humans figured out the secret of time travel and went back in time.

Call me stupid, or even crazy but the resemblance of the artifacts to modern day aerodynamics is absolutely insane.

I believe that it is very probable that we are not alone in our universe. So I guess I believe in Aliens.

However, I believe it would be very, in fact, extremely unlikely that they would manage to make contact with us, due to the sheer size of our universe and the time light takes to travel through it.

I find it ridiculous to believe that they would manage to visit us, again, considering the distance that would separate us from their home world, and all that without leaving a trace of evidence, apart from two similar weird object crafted by two different ancient tribes.

My 2cents.

Those two artifacts look like birds to me? Other than that, I don't really see any similarities.

I am 99% sure that life exists on other planets. Now if their intelligent and not just bacteria is the big question.

Okay first, we could build a pyramid today. The way they moved the 2.5 ton rocks was through the use of wheels (logs, on roads) yes there is clear evidence logs on leveled roads existed during that time. An experiment was even done to prove 20 men could move a 2.5 ton slab of rock "The NOVA pyramid-building experiment found that 20 men could easily pull a two-tonne block along lubricated tracks."

Second: "Before the pyramids were built, the Egyptians had developed agriculture, writing, religion, astronomy, mathematics, metal-working and semi-precious stones, sophisticated artwork and monumental stone architecture, and had managed to unite the various people throughout the country under the rule of one king." A group of people who can do that must be able to think about creating massive buildings and should be able to allocate their thoughts to achieve. Sky scrapers today are not built by one person alone.

Although I think aliens are a real posibility I don't believe they would of visited earth as we are just not/nor will we be in the near future as advanced as space travel over light year distances.

The great pyramid of Giza was built in 22 years, and consists of over 2.3 MILLION rocks. For the pyramid to be constructed in that length of time, it'd take one rock to be cut, shaped, moved, and placed all in the span of 9 seconds. Keep in mind that the nearest limestone quarry was over 2 miles away.

Also, architects today have even said that building a structure like the pyramid of Giza would take them well over a century.

In theory the Universe is infinite, and despite the fact that planet earth is the only known planet to have living species, there remains an infinity of possibilities for life to exist on another planet or "atmosphere'd" environment.

What you said is based on the idea that it took 22 years to build. Where did that number come from? I think it is more likely that it took more than 22 years than it is that aliens came to earth, built some pyramids for Egyptians to bury their Pharoahs in, then left.

Yes, but slaves can die. They were malnourished, poorly treated, and most of them were old. Trust me, just watch the first episode of Ancient Aliens and you'll see where i'm coming from ;)

They'd be able to contain mass panic. What would you do if a race was discovered which exceeded human imagination? I know I for one would be worried about the future of the world, if the new race was an invasive species or not.

I think that people wouldn't panic or get scared about invasions because if aliens ever wanted to invade they would have done it along time ago, they had plenty of time for that.

The only people I can see panicking are the religious people because all of the holy books/teaching don't mention aliens at all.
