Botwatch is hitting pure essence botters pretty hard. I've been monitoring pure essence for a couple of hours and I have seen at least 5-10 botters there banned. The ban announcer outside the Varrock bank is constantly announcing bans so yes Botwatch seems to be working in certain areas. So opinions on botwatch?
Took them long enough, But it's good to see JaGeX actually trying for once :)
my opinion, dont bot where its a well known place where java bots are. dont bot too long on same skill. and if you wanna be super cautious dont bot at all. legit quests or etc etcQuote:

Botwatch is atm aimed to address the rants of legit players on rs forums. Ppl rant the most about things that they notice the most => bots that directly compete with real players are most often noticed => have higher ban rates => if you are going to bot then do it in a way that is less disruptive to human players. e.g. dont make bank in lrc, use scroll of cleansing instead etc.
