my road to 10 1 armed pullups
So as some of you know I was a gymnast for 10 years until I destroyed my knee dirt biking & my other knee skiing (yea I'm so lucky, same summer too)
since then I have been fit, but not as much as I always used to be
anyway this past 1.5 weeks I've had mostly off from work, since I just finished a huge project & my half semester accelerated classes ended & start up AFTER spring break, so I find myself with 3 weeks off
so about 7 days ago I started doing pullups (60%), chinups (25%), & muscle ups (15%) pretty much all day. I've been hitting over 1000 total each day.
So far I have gone from being able to do probably only around 15 pullups at once, now I can do around 40. I also can do 1 1 armed pullup when I'm not tired
I also broke the ceiling drywall by hitting my head against it when throwing myself up in a pullup too fast, lol..
anyway that's where I am.. I don't think I'll stop until I can do 100 pullups in a row, and probably 100 chinups too since they're "easier" to work at.
not sure when I'll be able to do 10 1 armed, but I'll probably pass that goal eventually.
