    Default Blank the system.

For four fucking years I worked with those wankers with absolutely NO trouble.
Oh, Derrick, you're doing some important work by cutting 30k keys that need to be cut numbered sorted and sent before the day is out... Do you mind taking to the gentleman at the front? about a suitable bike chain?

After 15 minutes of arguing with him that a thick chain and a combination padlock is better than any bike lock, he refuses to take my advice and starts wearing. I call him a wanker and ask him to leave.

3 days latter I'm getting told that I'm getting fired because I was rude to a costumer. What. The. Fuck.
Motherfucker, I've been doing this before you grew pubes.
So now I'm broke, trying to look after and feed a cat, trying to find a new place to live and trying to find the gentleman way of saying to my girlfriend "Niggah, we broke as hell."

I'll probably have to sell an heirloom watch that;s been in my family for 3 generations, sell all jewelery ect ect.

I have a criminal record because I was in possession of narcotics, so no locksmith will take me.

    I see a few choices:
Do what I use to, sell medice withought a licence.
    Steal.
    Scam.

I don't know what to do, I'm starving and living off scraps that friends and family give me... my cat looks awfully tasty...

tl;dr Fuck the system I learned everything by my SELF from the age of 12. I'' more qualified than half the old fuck-heads there.
    Fuck you, store owners.
    Woah... That feels better.

    Angry story time?

You should still try to get a job, you might convince people if you are nice enough.

Yeah, even a minimum wage job is better money than stealing. Less illegal too.

Yeah, maybe if I prove to them that I haven't taken any form of opiates, and all my supplies are completely legal... Maybe they'll give me a chance...

Yeah, I left that life aaaages ago. I could make 5k a night on a lucky night... I'm I'm tired of being the bad guy.
It's just... Gah, on good weeks, you get called around and the job is done in 7 seconds, and the pay is $75 as opposed to staking lettuce at the local supermarket.

Rent is next week and I have $2,500 save for emergancy... Perhaps It's time I quite while I'm ahead, sell my stuff and start somewhere new. Who knows. Such important life changing decisions call for drugs, medication and sleep.

Hmm...Fuck da system! I agree. Though I hate my life just as much as the system so... yea.

Probably shouldn't take advice from me, but if I was in your situation, Id review all the things that could potentially help me in getting a job.

Did I pass out of college? Do I at least have a GED? Did I finish High School? What degrees and what majors? Do I have any contacts? Could someone on the forums here help with the contact idea?

Any of these^^^? PS: I gotchyo back!

Maybe this extra free time is a good way to find out what you really want to do in life, what really makes you happy? Once you find out what that is, you can go for it. Take a leap of faith and see what happens.

But at the same time ends meet is always a priority, possibly you can incorporate your lifes biggest dreams and turn them into income? I always think that when one door closes, another one opens. So try to stay positive and look at the opportunity in front of you.

Yeah, I guess that's my only option... That and leaving flyers of message boards saying that I'll charge 3 times less than a normal locksmith.

I love this answer. But I've done this before... It made me end up in rehab with a serious, serious drug addiction and a mental disorder.

You're a good dude. Maybe the it means that it's time to do something else.
    Thanks buddy!

I like the first part, but the whole door thing threw me off. I hate sayings If one door closes, another opens? In this case, doesn't that mean the second door was already open?
Does that mean you just couldn't see it? Or does it mean that when you opened the first door, you came into a nice room that had an open second door?

    Gawd this hurts

I'm SO glad I'm not the only one who thinks deeply about sayings. For example: An eye for an eye makes the whole world blink. No, it just makes everyone have one eye. Or at the very least, it leaves one person with sight.

You should save up and go to the poorer countries and spend some time there. See how they have it, the kids play in water that will kill them... But they're smilling and enjoying themselves. All they have is clothes (if even that) but yet they smile.
The men drink homemade alcohol and enjoy themselves. The women cook with minimal utilities.
The only thing "modern" they have are plates.
Go to a place like that and you'll appreciate life more.

Having said that, you could have a personality disorder and not give a fuck either way. In which case, we can be mental together!

In reality the opportunity was always right in front of you, it simply took the circumstance which you are currently in to realize that you don't always have to settle for mediocrity. I hope you can see what I mean.
