Myself, YoHoJo
GP Buyer, Who will be called Buyer to protect his identify.
And a lowly Scammrr, who we'll call Idiot.
And so the story begins.
Buyer contacted YoHoJo on Skype and asked to buy his entire stock!
Weary at first, as he was well seasoned in the market and knew things like this were rarely true, YoHoJo asked what payment method was to be used.
(Of course he wouldn't take PP because that's very unsafe!)
Buyer answered MoneyPak, and agreed to YoHoJo's fair and low prices!
Buyer was kind enough to drive to the store just to get a MoneyPak for YoHoJo!
The trade went brilliantly!
Seller had lots of gold, and YoHoJo had sold his entire stock!
Buyer said he had a $55 MoneyPak left over and would love to spend it on YoHoJo once he restocked, but alas, YoHoJo's coin pouch was barren!
Buyer promised to buy more later, but was eager to spend the $55 as soon as possible.
Several minutes later...
Buyer comes to YoHoJo enraged!
He had been scammed out of his $55 by the Idiot imposter!
His hard earned money, taken away in a blink of an eye!
Alas, there was nothing to be done, all hope was lost!
Yet another several minutes later....
YoHoJo receives a Skype request from a user asking to buy fair and low priced gold via MoneyPak.
At first YoHoJo thought nothing of it, business as usual, another customer like normal, and explains he has no stock at the moment.
But a few seconds later YoHoJo thinks maybe....just maybe... And as how much money was on the MoneyPak card, and buyer2 answered
$55!
Was it a coincidence he thought? Or had the IDIOT IMPOSTER come to YoHoJo to buy GP with a stolen $55 MoneyPak?!
After agreeing to a deal, and of course the buyer2 went first to the almighty YoHoJo, buyer2 tells him the MoneyPak code.
YoHoJo quickly asks the original buyer what code he got scammed out of, and low and behold... THEY MATCHED!
The IDIOT IMPOSTER was left with a:
Not a word more, not a word less, and no questions were answered.[YoHoJo]: I have reason to believe that that code was scammed from another user. I will be returning the funds to him and making a report against you.
The MoneyPak was quickly redeemed, the buyer was notified, and he agreed to buy the $55 worth of GP from YoHoJo as soon as YoHoJo got it, also giving him a $10 reward for his valiant efforts.
Moral of the story?
