Default Do Jagex really pay much attention to mouse movements?

Somewhat newbie here, just joined this forum - but I have scripted before.

I propose this question out of curiosity. I personally used to write (albeit basic and personal) scripts for a while using SCAR and I enjoyed implementing human-like features and using things like MoveWindMouse (in the newer versions of SCAR).

Due to the 2007 comeback, I looked into scripting again and found out about Simba etc which I am looking forward to using .

Over the past few years there has been a complete surge of touchscreens on the market, in tablets, mobile phones, and computer screens. Of course, with a touch screen, there is no middle area where you drag your cursor along the client, you simply touch what you want to click on, that's it.

So why don't people who use touchscreens get falsely detected as botters? It would be fairly common if it happened; there are plenty of people with tablets powerful enough to run Runescape.

I personally find it quite satisfying watching a script play as though it were human, sliding the cursor across the screen. For arguments sake however, lets say you coded a sensible script that had features you would expect a human player to have if they were on a touchscreen. Do you think you could get away with removing artificial mouse movements in-between mouse clicks?

Yes, that's been discussed for awhile on and off. Usually it leads to try it out if you want, but for now there's no reason to mess with it.

However, once RuneTek7 comes out, there may be some interesting things dealing with botting. That's a bit off-topic, though.

It seems that they track mouse movements but they don't actually do anything with it. Or they can't do anything useful with it.

I also get email notifications of private messages, though.

they track your mouse patterns and it just raises suspicion on your account which can lead to a ban in the long wrong
