If jagex could detect tenths of milliseconds couldn't they detect us bots easily? It would be obvious which are bots since they wait for example 1000.0 milliseconds instead of a human which would might be 1000.4
Just a interesting theory

Interesting idea, but I think that enough random time to cancel this out would occur because of the time it takes for a command to be sent/acted on.
No idea if this is right but imagine it takes .4 milliseconds for Simba to read a command and then get SMART to do the action, Jagex would only receive the time when the action actually started and not when Simba told it to start. If that makes any sense![]()
I was thinking the same thing that samba might not be 100% accurate with waits but if it was most of the time it could still be enough. Of course if this was added then I guess we would just add tenth of millisecond waits but if they put it in without us noticing we could have a massive ban wave
Coulda shoulda woulda jagex

I'm not following 100%. Yes I'm sure they can record time between actions, but what actions are you talking about? You never specified... Wait times between clicking? Typing keys on the keyboard? Moving the mouse?

Yeah, but there's at least a thirty second ping on any world. The huge range in ping means that timing really isn't something they detect, I expect.
I'm 90% sure that their detection works more on your variance of tasks over time, rather than individual moments. It's more just a case of "how often do they repeat this taskwith x amount consistency"
I could easily be wrong, but that's how I reckon they function
