    Default Temple Trekking

Since its one of the requirements for comp,

Has anyone completed the the whole minigame for all morytania tasks?

Im not even sure how to start the minigame or what to do.
Have heard from friends that it takes anywhere from a week to 2 weeks just to level all your familiars to 99 and having a ghast, etc.

    So any advice/tips?

Start with the Hard guy and its pretty self explanatory, while going through let the follower inflict as much damage, while not taking too much damage and dying, as possible to level them up the fastest. The hard guy has very little LP and doesn't often attack so he takes like a week to two weeks depending on how much you play and the easy and medium person only take like a few hours each.

Which weapons/set up do you use?

The Rs wiki article on temple trekking is one of the best pages they have on the whole site, check that out.
I haven't finished it myself but it may take around a month to do it all- when the mory tasks were released, jagex gave people an "early bird bonus" for doing it in 2 weeks and very few achieved that.

I don't know what gear would be used in TT now adays, but back then just your highest melee gear and armour weapons. You need a stick (can be gotten while in the trek), bring baskets of apples or something like that for the food on the one where you have to feed people.

Have heard from friends that it takes anywhere from a week to 2 weeks just to level all your familiars to 99 and having a ghast, etc.

    So any advice/tips?
I've done it recently, and here's how I did it:

Tip 1: BRING A SPIRIT TERRORBIRD!
Running out of energy while getting back to the start is absolutely miserable, trust me.

Tip 2: LOG OUT DURING VAMPIRE ENCOUNTERS!
I can't stress this enough. An update made them incredibly difficult to kill, and NONE of the adventurers will attack them. Battles last forever, and you can die! Logging out takes you back to the begining of the minigame instead of the swamp, so you can start over and pray you don't encounter them again.

Tip 3: RUSH EASY PATH REPEATEDLY FOR THE HARD DIFFICULTY ADVENTURERS!
They suck. They barely attack, and when they do, they die. Just rush easy path again and again until you get them to be able to predict what's going to occur in the path, then choose hard if the path hint doesn't contain any enemies.

Tip 4: ALWAYS CARRY 4 PINEAPPLES!
Sometimes, you get the starving camp event, and it takes way too long to kill and cook food. Simply bring 4 pineapples, and cut 2 into slices, and feed each individual slice to the campers.

Tip 5: DON'T BRING ANY FOOD! BRING A SHIELD AND WEAR FULL GANODERMIC + POLYPORE STAFF, ABYSAL WHIP, AND GRANITE SHIELD!
Food after Eoc is largely redundant with the large supplies of health the armour gives. Simply use rejuvinate and regenerate to heal yourself. Why bring the whip? So you can attack while using rejuvinate.

Tip 6: TRAIN JAYENE KLIYN FIRST TO 99!
This unlocks the "Ouroboros pouch", which acts like an infinite druidric pouch so you dont have to carry that weak sickle.

And if you think I'm making this up, here's a screenshot of my progress here:

Oh, btw, since walking back and forth is really tedious, before you complete this minigame, you should complete "The Darkness of Hallowvale" so that you can still progress while going from the temple to the village.

Oh, and here's the hints/predictions for this minigame.

    Here's what I did:
Puzzle events - always chose hard; only chose other paths if the hint is for the campsite and you forgot to bring the pineapples

    Combat events:
Either Juvinates or Vyrewatches - always chose another path; if all three paths were like this, log out and start over.
Shades - Depends. If you are confident that your follower won't die, then chose the hard path as the shades are "Fiyr shades" which drop "Fiyre remains" worth 3k in GE, for a total of 28k from the 8 shades that you fight there. Also, during the start of the event, immediately target the shades attacking the doors so that you can talk to the people there for a free boost in combat stats.
Swamp snakes - Hard as heck to kill fast with magic, they can kill your follower along with you very quickly; even worse is when you have "Rolayne Twickit" as your escort, since not only is he weak as heck, but he also likes to attack all enemies except vampires for no reason.
Nail beasts - I'd skip these if my follower was any difficulty higher than easy, since they hit quite hard.
Skeleton Graveyard - Do hard. They're aggressive so lure them all to the coffin in the center and click on it to kill most of them nearby.
Swamp Creature - Do hard; they won't target your escort. Just turn on protect melee AFTER you've entered combat, since the cutscene will play without pausing any prayers, losing valuable prayer points.
Giant snails - NEVER do this on hard with "Rolayne Twickit"; they only attack when provoked and it just so happens that old man likes to attack anything except for the vampires.
Ghasts - Skip them unless you either have the Ouroboros pouch or a silver sickle + pouch.

Btw, don't supply food to easy difficulty escorts as they can fend for themselves, especially at later levels. But please do so for the hard difficulty followers as they die really quick.

Not sure how TT is in eoc, but when I did it for comp cape, leveling the easy and medium followers were pretty afk if you did the combat events. The hard followers are a pain and you have to rush through events to level up, I used the same bot that Sin used for that.
My goal to max cape #2:Here. Check it out

You're actually going for comp cape @Four? It's going to take forever man. Kinda seems not worth it.

Well good luck! I cannot imagine doing 5000 castle wars games, or has that been reduced or something? Let alone the other massive requirments. I'll be happy to have just a compl cape. 120 dung is going to be hard.

Btw you playing with a team for dungeoneering? I rly need to ask you, whats ur xp/hour, how many hours do you play a day? Im only 79 dung, and I plan on doing it at the end, when I have all the others 99. It should be pretty soon. Ive got only the easy skills left. Except for farming, that may take a while.

Temple Trekking is part of the Morytania Achievement Diary, and you have to finish all diaries/tasks for the completionist cape req.

The amount of hours I dg varies, getting around 400-600k xp/hour
