    Default [SRL-RANDOM] Rewards ~ Working

    As of March 5th, 2012, the random event rewards are working. If, for whatever reason, a solver fails, please post the debug text (found in Simba/Includes/SRL/logs) and if you're willing to let an SRL developer use your account, PM the account details to one of the following developers:

    Currently, the lamp random detects swamp frogs as being lamps. The uptext for the lamp is 'amp', which works with swamp toad. Seems like an issue with the DTM that is quite weird. Neither of the items have similar colors. Maybe the tolerance for the main point needs to be lowered?

    The tolerance is 15, and considering that a lamp is yellow and the legs are green, I highly doubt it's the tolerance.

    I still think there's something wrong with Simba's DTM finding. I know for a fact that the lamp DTM isn't even close to that shape, and obviously color.

    E: I'm assuming this happens every time you try?

    Yeah. I've made sure everything was correct. While I highly doubted it would be my computer, I restarted it and it continued to happen. It still happens now.

    E: Used about 20 swamp toads just testing.

    I really don't know what to do. This has come up before (but with different items). We can only remake the DTM so many times. We'll be investigating some DTM stuff for the next Simba version, so maybe it'll fix it. If not, I'll have to look into it further.

    I have no reward boxes in my inventory. The only things in my inventory are summoning flasks, iron minotaur pouches and gold charms.

    It keeps spamming this and it also says "The automatically split characters are too wide. Try decreasing minspacing."

    Not sure what the problem is.

    Here is a log from a couple minutes. It's really slowing my script down so I'm probably going to remove FindNormalRandoms from it because it messes it up.

    A few people have reported the same thing, except with Lamps and Mystery Boxes. I really don't know how Simba could be finding those DTMs on items that look nothing like them. It's something we'll have to look into further.

    Okay, thanks. I will try to figure out which item is causing the trouble, it's either the iron minotaur pouches (I had the same problem with bronze minotaur pouches but I got 46 summon recently) or the gold charms or the summoning flasks. When I get back from school I'll figure out which one gives the error.

    I'm getting an error simular to JJs. Unfortunately the console cleared before I can copy it, but my error message is identical to his error post. Instead of a reward box, it says it found the xp book. But this doesn't exist in my inventory at all.

    I am currently at runespan, and the 2 times I caught this error was when there was a nebula present. It wouldn't siphon the nebula because it kept running through my inventory saying it's solving the book that doesn't exist. My inventory was only the runes from runesapn, though it get running back between the water runes and essence. After I dropped them, it looked at air and mind. Hopefully this helps!

    *Edit* Caught it again, happened when nebula node is present. And it dropped the coal from my maze reward....

    Of course, with it being a false alarm, I don't have a book of knowledge in my inventory.
    This occurs at Runespan when a Nebula spawns.

    Last time I saw this occur it attempted to drop all the runes in my inventory (impossible as they only have a destroy option) and after that it either sorted itself out or (more often than not) I would find it logged out (due to inactivity, not the script logging it out as far as I'm aware).

    This is so weird, many people have posted this issue on my thread. However, the Book of Knowledge is a DTM, the Nebula shouldn't be matching that.

    I'll do some tests later.

    I'm pretty sure the DTM for the XP lamp is broken, it always drops them "as a failsafe", because they are not recognized.

    Fixed it was my fault... I changed the color modifiers and I forgot to reset them to default before calling the randoms :S
