Default 31k slayer xp per dollar?

This surprised me a lot. For around $300 dollars, this guy got 9.5m Slayer xp with a added 300k extra xp and 10m gold on the side by using SOF.

Thoughts? I find it amusing some guy with extra money left on his cc can just buy a 99 like that in a matter of hours.

e: Wrong math. Its more like 32k xp per dollar.

Well the lamps give x-amount of exp based on current level right? So if he had level 1 slayer then I imagine his total slayer experience gained would be a lot less.

300 bucks on spins? That's crazy! I can think of a lot more things to do with $300 than buy spins. New Video card, SSD, etc.

I really hate how they do this sof crap. If they are going to offer p2w why don't they have a store that has lamps with different amounts of exp for different costs.

Its not so much the "is it worth it" to me. Its just the basic premise that Jagex is quite literally selling xp and gp.

Jagex has offered more xp and gp in exchange for money for years, it's always been PayToWin. Buying membership gives you better moneymaking and better xp than F2P, it's always been like that.

Would you guys get angry at Jagex if they released a new "Premium P2P" that costs a few dollars more per month, but gave you access to new training areas that gave better xp/h and moneymaking methods that gave more gp/h?

That's my thinking on the subject, but I guess for some people the fact that better methods still take time and "effort" on your part means they're okay.

It does seem hypocritical, yes. But buying SOF requires no effort at all and there is no level playing field. Everyone on the "premium p2p" would have the same in-game advantage but some guy who can buy spins will get a real world advantage over a normal 7 bucks a month member.

Jagex does need her monies though. But seriously, nerf these SOF rewards. And invest more into SGS.

Not really since the players will still have to work for the XP and GP. In this case, all you need to do is spin a (rigged) wheel 1k times for a slayer cape. I'm not sure how much of an achievement is that.
