    Default SPS_AnyAngle help

SPS has been giving me a hard time since I started scripting for OSR. As you know, the minimap of OSR shifts a little overtime, either to the east or west. I've made a custom map for my scripts, and everytime I made a path for it to walk, it will only follow that path line pattern which is outlined in the path generator. So if I made my compass to South and with SPS_AnyAngle to true, it will still walk with that pattern. It means that when my compass is at north, I will walk to the south, which is correct. And when my compass is south, it will walk still walk to the south, which is wrong, it should be walking north when compass is at south.

Is there anything that I'm doing wrong here? Should I rotate my map 180 degrees? Then what is the SPS_AnyAngle function for? How should I make it to work with my map?

    Have you set

    Simba Code:
    SPS_AnyAngle := True;

At the start of the mainloop?

I think its better to explain with image.

When compass at North, minimap looks like that. I'm showing that I'm walking to the altar, it will walk according to the outlines of the path.

When compass is at South, minimap looks like this. It will still walk with the same pattern lines, not knowing compass is already at south.

Seems to me that your map isn't big enough, SPS is probably not recognising the map correctly.

It will walk according to the line of path, like when compass is south. Compass at south is better for the script to work, better colors to find etc.

Does the map need to be big for anyangle to work? Else it will only walk according to the lines? How big should it be?

Well a SPS map in general should cover more ground, I'm surprised your map works (does it on the long term?)

also try to remove white, yellow dots that moves.

Yes, it will always work if compass is at north, it just clicks on the lines outlined without recognizing any color. Just like how it will walk when the compass is at any other side.

Well, I'm not really good at photoshop, I can only combine all those maps together

GOD DAMN IT! I think I know what's the problem. SPS_WalkPath function is re-written in OSR-SPS. And I'm still using the WalkPath function I edited which I used for EOC. I just read the codes of OSR-SPS walkpath function, facepalm-ed hard.

EDIT: Just re-edited the walkpath function of OSR-SPS. Now even that small custom map works with any angle!

If you search that tutorial section there should be another one, can't find it ATM because I'm on my Ipad. Just zoom in really really close and color match and compare to other screenings without that particular dot.

I'm getting very frustrated. Whatever map I made, it never worked long.
