    bye bye busy season

Just got back tonight... was freaking amazing. Wife and I rented out a cabin on the side of a mountain in arkansas (they have amazing state parks). This was the view from our back porch.

Perfect weather, great hiking, mountain biking, grilling out, and relaxing by the fire. Gotta love it

Another view from our porch (sunset)

Wife taking a break after hiking to other side of the mountain

Was def great to take a break from all the techno stuff and just relax

Good eye I love the ozarks. I went to Camp Ozark for a part of the summer as a camper and then counselor for most of my life! Actually right outside the ouachita national forest - at a place called Mount Neebo. Awesome spot for a getaway (not sure if neebo is technically a part of the ozarks, but close enough!)

Oh and also we did stop in Durant, OK on the way there to do some gambling for a night as well!

Edit I got home tonight sin baby

Oh yeah Neebo. I'm not sure what mountain range it's a part of, I only know that my dad and some of his friends did a lot of hangliding there. Apparently it's a hotspot for that.

Beautiful. Reminds me exactly of my country when I go to visit. Sadly not the best place to live at due to poverty/crime.

haha yeah! It is famous for that. But you can only do it at certain times of the year unless you have a special license for it (which we didn't have )

That's right. The licenses determine how high of a mountain one can hanglide from. I don't know if it's the correct term but my dad said they were classified as "Hang 1, Hang 2, ect..."; you had to work your way up by number of take-offs and landings and height of your take-off point. Don't quote me on this but I believe to fly Neebo you're required to have a Hang 2.

The area I live in doesn't have many mountains, but the entire area is unglaciated Wisconsin. Hills, bluffs, and valleys as far as the eye can see. Nature is truly beautiful.
