Cool You guys just need to take a moment of your day and listen to freedom [MUSIC]

No it's not rap, so don't even go there... not now

Well lately I've been going through this weird phase where I can't sleep from 10PM-3ishPM so I stay up and listen to the oldies. One song that has recently both satisfied and freed my soul is Scar Tissue by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. You guys might think that I'm white trash because I listen to rap, but I'm more diverse than that. Seriously guys give this one a listen.

Chili peppers make you feel the music... I just can't get over it. If you guys have any suggestions for similar stuff I'm all ears. I don't mind Nirvana, Aerosmith, or other bands "like that"

The first RHCP song I listened to was Snow, and then Dani California.
I loved those two.. I remember when they were big on Guitar Hero/Rockband.. what year is it again

I remember dani california from rock band. I actually wasn't a fan of that song and it kind of turned me off from the chili peppers- just kind of wrote them off as 'old people shit'. But then when I got into my more philosophical phases of life and exploring music I just fell in love with it. Just a couple of hits from 80s destroys what we have on the radio. When I started listening to the oldies I was almost sick to my stomach to think of what I'd been missing.

Aren't you supposed to include a picture of a face when you say mfw?

    Not always
Either you can say 'mfw ...' to let the reader come up with an obvious/their own assumption or you can include a picture of a face when saying it.

    http://8tracks.com/

Used this site ever for 5 months, great for just trying to find new songs! Essentially people make playlist, post em and they play. How the site works is you search up the tag(s) such as genre or scenarios (for me its chill + indie rock + study) and then it gives you the list of playlist users submitted based on your search.

Songs I found, never heard of in the site, and took great joy in listening to.
