Tired of selling supplies for HOURS, voted yes on multipe accounts <3
I dont play OSR so I can't vote.... nor do I see my vote making a impact even if i could.
I think it's better to have the Trading Posts updated as they're discussing doing should the Grand Exchange not pass. With the newer updates you can directly purchase items (in any quanities) from someone's offer on the Trading Post. Also this way item prices will not be determined as if the Grand Exchange were reintroduced.

I prefer the trading post method! Much easier to merch in my opinion.
"Old school" Rs really shouldn't be considered "Old school" anymore tbh.. It is becoming Rs3 without the new combat stuff.

The GE didn't ruin the economy lol, it allowed players to efficiently trade items at their true value (not counting new items) without having to deal with merchers. The only issue with the GE was merching clans could buy out a item to make it rise which can be mostly stopped by having item amount limits.
I shouldn't have to spend a day selling stuff I get from slayer. Do you know how long it takes to sell items? And TBH who cares if people can't merch, merchers are annoying anyway. They are just middle man that sit somewhere for hours with a auto typer buying items way under price and then selling them obnoxiously high.
It actually did ruin it. When GE came out, items were no longer rare. They were sold in such large abundances that everyone had everything.. I could put a price, and simply wait until I get it. It took no time to sell. Time is money applies here.. While waiting on your item to sell on GE, you're gaining money doing something else (maybe even getting another of the same item to flood the market with)..
However, if you take the time to sell the item, you aren't gaining money while waiting on buyers.. This means that you have an adjusted price to compensate for the selling time of said item. This is to make up for the loss or extra time that you could have used to make more money.. It's how RS works.
Without GE, a whip used to be 3.5m long ago.
GE came out, a whip became 1.5m and dropped below that.
Time is money. People taking "time" to sell things keep the cost up. GE is like the walmart of RS.

The GE is hardly the reason whip crashed though. When the ge came out whip stayed at a constant 1.3-1.5m (also god swords came out too) for over a year until pvp stats came out inflated the price of all items. It didn't crash until pvp stats where removed and by that time dungeoneering had come out and whips became more obsolete (also slayer became so much faster with the release of the slayer helm, extremes, turmoil, and chaotics)
I think people are forgetting a long with the grand exchange we get lootshare.. which is awesome
