prices of gold is so low that i've pretty much given up on ' gold ' farming and going straight to making a main account.

any changes for you guys?

The price of gold is so low, in my opinion, because it is much easier to obtain these days. So, if you use up-to-date, complex methods (3-4m/hr), it's as profitable as before, maybe a little worse.

So nothing has changed for me, or anyone interested in farming, I think!

this might be a good opportunity for me to actually play the game and find such methods out.

i've only been using "public" methods atm with custom scripts

hopefully when summer hits more people play :|

Ugh I've been doing the occasional research for a long while, and have only found 1 non known 2m+ method so far. Getting the supplies was too expensive and the account got banned for other reasons soon after that so I think I'll give it up.

For me personally, nothing's changed. I never cheated in RS with the aim of turning a profit. I don't even know the current price of gold.

Once upon a time, I cheated with the aim of gaining xp and levels for my main, and to give my computer something to do while I was away all day. Now that my main account is gone, I don't bot or play the game. I keep RS around solely for development purposes, that's how it's been since the start of iScripts.

I'd not even touch RS any longer if it weren't for the wonderful SRL community, and the wealth of knowledge here. I learn new things every day.

No, I can just remember all the major gold buyers/sellers buying for $0.13/m and I was able to buy for $0.17/m off some people on sythe

For OSRS, you can make 5 accounts that make 1m/h through runecrafting. 5m/h is $10/h, so that's pretty good

It's weird that no one has answered you yet, but I think the selling price is like $.35 and the buying price is $.45 ish a mil. Say what you want about bonds, but they are keeping the gp price stable.

chop off ~10 cents on both and you're around what the current rs3 prices are. I'd put the [english] range at .23 - .35$/m and declining (currently)

Yeah you're right about that, I haven't been selling recently. I can't believe I'm actually playing the game now rofl.

Sell prices are something like 0.21 € so around 0.22 dollar cents at MAX buyers say they full in stock, most of them doesnt want to buy at any rate atm, just stagnation. Basicly price is still declining and will be because NO bots were banned past month for me and i run atleast 60 of them as it is my main and only income atm. I goldfarm low lvl suicidal areas and no bans there is like unbelievable(counting old rates should have had atleast 50 bans). Also got few high lvl moneymaking methods 1.3,2,3.5m per hour ones on few other accounts.

Not to mention some areas i have been monitoring like fungus, scales, limps are heavily botted. Some accounts run litterally 24/7/4weeks NO bans. Seems like jagex just doesnt care or wants to hit goldfarmers economically. Proffit plummets in value of items and gold prices. Basicly like few months ago used to sell fungus 1.2kea and gold was around 0.28€, it was 0.13-0.14€ per hour per bot. Now fungus 650 ea, and gold 0.2€ proffit is like 0.04€ per account, taking in count bonds it is LESS PROFFITABLE THAN F2P. Week ago got rid of shifts and running 1-2 shifts now instead of 3-4(need somehow to keep same income as bonds arent cheap), no big deal, NO bans Thats what happens when jagex doesnt ban bots, but somehow you must finish their bonds Got some huge stock of consumables atm. As selling them is ridiculously unprofitable now.

My prediction is some other botters are stacking up too. And double xp weekend wont rise prices alot. Maybe just a little bit. Personally ill try migrate to oldschool because rs3 is not worth for low lvl atleast. And proffit decline 3-4 times in some areas seems absurd.

I originally started botting skills on throwaway accounts just for the thrill of it or to pk on, but then my main, who I never botted on, was manually banned by a Jmod who seemed to dislike me, for reasons other than botting.
After that, I lost all motivation to play legit, so now I'm just casually goldfarming so I can buy back 95pray/96herb/t90-weapons on my new main.
